I have been to Sousa over 6 times within the last few years and am only going to Santo Domingo in order to "test my mettle" so to speak. Dominican Cupid has been awesome for me as, but I've been able to figure it out a lot better after dealing with the site for over 3 months already.

In Sosua, chicas only want to know a few key tid bits of info from you:

-When did you arrive.

-How long are you staying.

-Where you are staying (hotel)

-When are you leaving.

-What's your email address.

In case you didn't know about Sosua, it is similar to the red light district in Pattaya or Bangkok Thailand but on a much smaller scale: pros out and about, discos and bars, point and click.

Aside from a few spots with streetwalkers and some casas around the city, Santo Domingo is nothing like Sosua. The main draw for me was the chance to mingle with women not as traversed (her belly is still warm from the monger she was just with 10 minutes ago) as Sosua chicks. My response rate from the women on DC has been consistently 95-97. The real problem arises when you start to try to establish connections with them, because you will quickly realize it's going to take a lot more work than just saying you are "looking for someone to have fun with."

This has been my observations while dealing with DC chicas:

-They don't start off by asking when you are coming to SD. Actually, most of them have assumed that I already live there even though my profile states that I live in the US. Also (YMMV) almost all of them ask me "Tu eres Dominicano?" I'm guessing I could pass for Dominican based on my photo. I tell them that I am not, and it has yet to keep them from conversing with me.

-They want to know what you do for a living.

-They want to know what you are looking for (most chicas on DC assume you are looking for the same thing as them: a relationship or marriage)

-They want to know what you are looking for in a woman.

-Do you have kids.

-Are you married.

To make a long story short, if you are looking for a chica to which you can just say "come on over and let's fuck", then you may want to go to Sosua instead. But if you are willing to put in some time and effort (and are comfortable with the fact that you may not have sex the first time you meet her) , then Santo Domingo and Dominican Cupid should work out in your favor. If not, there are always Casas and Streetwalkers to fall back on.

*Alternate strategies:

-The chicas I am absolutely positive that I will be banging on the first meet are the ones that ask me for shit (like the message from the chica I posted asking me to buy her a cell phone).18yrs old with the body of a track star. I plan to wear that ass out on multiple occasions. Those asking for shit are the ones I like. As Biggie Smalls said:

Just keep in mind that these chicas will most likely be coming for money though; especially money for bus fare back home. And don't be surprised if she asks you up front how much money you will give her (so that she can gauge if the trip would be worth her time or not) upfront.

Final Note: If you do not plan to add photos of your self (plural) then you are just wasting your time. SAntiago has some very attractive women. Many of them are very fair skin beauties. You invite them to visit you in SD. For them it is a nice vacation. You need to court them a bit online. However once they accept your invite it is on. I send money for the bus and ask what gift they would like and they know what I want. The gifts are enticements that set the stage. DR women love perfum. A few gifts will secure you a happy companion for as long as you want. The DR is very poor and these girls have financial challenges beyond our imagination. I simply mentioned that I didn't know how to contact Jackson (I never noticed the contact button on bottom) and that the admin was free to chime in responding to the post which is now deleted. In my post, I pointed out that the FAQ stated the reason for the delay in posting was to eliminate chit chat and that the board was intended for trip reports. Out of 100 random posts, I suspect you won't even see 10 trip reports. In any event, not that you'll miss me dearly, but I'm now done posting here.

It cost like 5 bucks for them to get a bus to SD. Not being from SD is a big plus. They love tourist hotels and eating in restaurants. I prefer my chicas not live in SD. It gives you more control of the situation. The odds of them spending night with you goes way up.

As Mr. Enternational just pointed out, some chicas may say they live in the capital, but when you ask them they may actually be in another part of the island or an hour and some change from Santo Domingo in a place you've never heard of before:

I haven't really been communicating with any chicas living outside of SD, but I do take them into consideration if it is some place close like San Cristobal, San Pedro de Macoris, or La Romana. Don't want to be waiting around all day for a chica if it's going to take them more than a couple of hours to arrive by bus.

But for me personally, she would also have to be super smoking hott (like a 9 or 10) in order for me to even consider it because the hours I am waiting for her to arrive by bus could just as well be spent working my SD connects.

It's tempting to go fishing this far out from your trip, but I would wait until you are getting closer to December. The problem I am having is that I started over the summer, and some of those summer connects I am now trying to reconnect with don't remember who I am, LOL. And some of them don't come on DC or LAC anymore. That's why it's better to try to establish connects much closer to your trip or while on the ground there. I would not rely on the latter too much because sometimes these chicas go days or weeks without checking their accounts, and if you tried to send her a message while there she may not get it until after you're back in the states from your trip.

Another tip: When doing your search for Santo Domingo, keep the setting at a 50 mile radius. If a chica contacts you from a place you never heard of before, just copy and paste it into Google Maps and see how far it is from SD. You can also just ask the chica how far she is from la capital. But some of the responses I have gotten have been all over the map. One chica from Mao was trying to tell me it's only an hour and a half away, which is clearly not the case.

You might come out better trying one of those Nigerian email scams.) I sent her a message saying it was less than 300 pesos from Santiago to Santo Domingo on Caribe Tours then I blocked her ass.

The Difference: My girl from immigration just left. I called her at 6:45 when I came back from eating. She said she would be here in an hour. She didn't arrive until 8:34. I bitched her out about it and told her I had to go out with my friends at 10. She said to just let her get some dick and she would go home at 9:30 so I could go out. When it was time to go I asked her how much her taxi was. She said you know I live far so it is 250. I gave her 500 pesos. She said baby the taxi is only 250. I said yes but you had to pay 250 to get here as well. Duhhh.

I'm never in one spot long enough to wait for a chica to come from out of town and spend the night with them. It is easier for me to go to them. I always rent a car so that is no problem. For instance I arrived in Santiago at 1am Thursday night. All of my chicas said it was too late for them to come out. My brother had arrived Tuesday, so I told him to have me a chick waiting. So one of his girls rounded up a friend and was in his room waiting when I arrived. I fucked her while my brother and his girl were downstairs in the casino. We all slept in the same bed that night. Four grown ass people in a queen-sized bed. We went to sleep about 4. We woke up at 9 and went to the breakfast buffet in the hotel then we took them home and headed to Sosua. My brother left Sosua and drove to Santo Domingo the next morning. I stayed in Sosua Friday and Saturday and got up this morning and drove to Santo Domingo at 11am. In the morning at 1030 I will be out of here headed to the airport.

Even when I was here for 9 days in February I was all over the place. Santo Domingo, Bonao, Moca, Santiago, Sosua, San Pedro, Boca Chica. I will rarely be in one city more than 2 days and when I am then it is usually Sosua, but even 3 days max there.

There are probably 2 places that you can dance on that strip so they will not be hard to find. And you and your girl will probably be the only ones in there. Unless it is a weekend. I saw some locals going to one place that was upstairs in a building on the corner and got one girl's phone number as her and her friends drove up to go there.
