I actually like it since it keeps trouble away for the most part. Gringos need to look presentable and be able to hold a conversation. You must have your ID and papers in order.

No papers needed. Just ID. I know you insist on buying a tourist card but it's not required for the average monger.

I was in Tijuana on Sunday. I saw at least 4 policia pick-ups with "locals" in the back. At least 6 in each bed. A few chicas crying in the pick-ups. Many "Mexicans" were being frisked on Primera all night. I did not see any gringos hassled. I walked past these incidents all night.

Has anyone stayed at the Marriott. Location? Chica friendly?

The hotel is on Aguas Calientes right next to the giant Caliente Casino in Hippodromo or next to the Plaza Galerias. It's a bit more further out from the Zona Norte. Add another 10 minutes on travel by taxi.

For me. It's very chica friendly (maybe because the staff knows who I am). But once in a while I did see other patrons checking in their chicas during the early parts of the morning. But I believe they are "chica friendly".

The first thing is if using an escort, meet her in the lobby instead of her going to the front desk. If you are bringing in a chica from outside with you, walk past and no one will bother you (as the front desk is very busy all the time). The second thing is that the elevator is only accessible by using your room key. A chica can get in the elevator but it will not move without a key. I saw it happen twice. Nice hotel otherwise. Ask for a room that faces the golf course for quieter sleep.

You will have a few food choices within walking distance and you will be across the street from the ruta taxis which go to 3rd street and revolucion for $1. If you go to the zona by taxi it will cost you roughly $4/5.

I recommend checking their guest policy. Please let us know how it goes.

By the way I just got back from Tijuana and I realized I lost a 500 peso note. Probably somewhere on Rev. If anyone found it please let me know Iam offering 200 pesos for its safe return.

Hello to all!

My wingman and I will be heading be heading to Tijuana for a couple nights of debauchery on Oct. 31. This will be our 3rd trip to Tijuana. Has anybody here done Halloween in Tijuana before? Looking for a little insight on what to expect that night. Will it be crazy busy (the clubs and the city in general) Do you think the girls will be charging more because its Halloween / Dia de los Muertos. I know HK is throwing a Halloween party, not sure what to expect. Anybody else goin down that weekend? We're dressing up for the occasion in costumes. We're staying at the Ticuan as usual and will be there till the morning of the 2nd.

Every bar in the zona will have a Halloween party, in fact, they are already decorated in Halloween theme now!

There's no extra charges by the chicas, it'll be business as usual, enjoy your trip!
