Okay. Hopefully someone can help me out here. I have been to Rio several times and believe me it sets the bar way high. I have familiar chicas I can hook up with and I am obviously a veteran when it comes to places to go. I am debating on whether to consider Medellin or Sosua this weekend or default to the old faithful Paradise. I have never been to the two aforementioned cities and I am curious to know which place would someone that has been to all three pick for this weekend? I really appreciate a prompt credible response! But from reading the article it does seem that the Politur visits ISG to stay up-to-date, LOL. Jfegedie reported about is trip a few weeks ago. Maybe they realized that (after reading his trip report) they've still more work to do.

Sosua is the only place having P4P problems right now. And Dominicanas are no where as hot as chicas from BR or COL.

[/QUOTE]Prostitution in DR is legal, I very, very highly doubt the foreigners were arrested for soliciting prostitution. The foreigners may have been arrested for fighting or some other offense. If you are calm, cool and collected, you will have no problem in DR.

If you like to get into fights, then you could get arrested for that in DR.

Thousands upon thousands of foreign men have visited Sosua and the article maybe mentions 5 foreigners getting arrested. As a general rule in DR, if you have a problem, it is usually best not to get the police involved. I was detained by the police in Sosua after some nut job chica tried to steal a cell phone and she tried to stab me and a watchieman with a knife. As a foreigner you are seen as a walking ATM.

Rule of law in DR is something nebulous, which can be a good thing or a bad thing. Perfect example is the recent arrests of many street chicas in Sosua. Those chicas were not breaking any law, the police were told by the politicians to clean up the streets and the police thereafter arrested women in Sosua, I have not seen anything in the Dominican Penal Code, that would justify those arrests.

How safe am I from STD's if I use common sense? I know that nothing is 100% but are you pretty safe messing with these chicks if you simply use a condom (for head too)?

I had this horrible experience in college with this freshman chick and I was pissing razor blades for a week. Whatever it was, it was cured easily but I don't want to experience that again.

Colombianas in Medellin are mostly lighter skin, many with implant tetas.

DR has a mix of chicas, from light skin to dark skin, some with big asses and some with big tetas. Many Dominican chicas love sex.

DR is closer to the US, pay for play prices are not bad in DR.

The tent will keep you from the razor blades but can't protect you from herpes, warts, etc. So be smart and you'll be fine!

Please see my post in the MDE section. Regarding the crackdown in Sosua, there are still tons of women. The women in MDE on average do have prettier faces, but there are plenty of very hot looking girls in Sosua (hell, Passions alone has 20 or so women that would fit right in at 4x4 or L'uomo).

IMO, you can't lose trying out MDE or Sosua. While neither is Rio-level, both have plenty to offer.
