I seem to remember GG jumping to the US Navy's defence one time I enquiried about their visit to HK. As with this enquiry, It has to do with a suddenly increase in the number punters as it is when the Sevens are on. It's not a comment on US foreign policy, the moral standing of the sailors or their behaviour. I think GG has a bit of soft spot for the US Navy boys.
I know the topic is weird sounding, but hear me out. I just booked my hotels for Thursday-Sunday and some of the rates I saw, and the one I took, were very low, for a 5 star HK hotel. Usually, I need to use my companies negotiated rates to get a good deal, but for some reason I saw great hotel rates this weekend that were in some cases cheaper. Any particular reason anyone thinks that would be?
Makati's 23rd Birthday party is being held on Tuesday. 14th March.
Unsure whether its an invitation event like 2012.

LOL I suspect it could be a combination of May 1, Golden Week, Bird Flu, and Global Economy. I noticed more empty seats on my flights. But I have noticed more pretty OL from Korea and Japan in the region. Not really sure. I am more preoccupied with my current dilemma of being passed around a small group of friends like a toy boy. Please, I am the one with the balls and do not like the tables turned.

I am visiting Hongkong and Macau for a weeks holiday starting from 13th of this month. I am put up in Langham Palace, Mongkok in HK and The Venetian in Macau. I will be visiting with my wife so I am looking for some quick fun where I can probably give her the slip for a short time while she is shopping or maybe some discrete massage center where I can say that I was gone for a massage.
Is there any good place near the hotel I am put up? Are there places which are basically massage centers but offer a bit extra pr maybe happy ending service. What is the cost involved?
Please give me some tips and indicators so that I can spice up my holiday a little.

Your company negotiates a corp rate but that doesn't means its going to be the the cheapest rate thats sold that day (FYI both Nokia and IBM insist that their corp rates in all hotels they use are always the lowest corp rates.). But if your hotel has spare inventory it can sell at whatever price it chooses.
Remember, the corp rate negotiated is for the full year and for sure hotels in a high demand city like HK will always want to get the highest corp rate it can. The spare inventory can be dumped for whatever rate that works for it on expedia / hotelbeds etc etc. Case closed.

You are within spitting distance to Dundas in HK and you will trip over the WGs in Macau.
Go to Google, and search for sex Mongkok. It will lead to a ton of information.

Your response missed the point. The Fact that there are rooms being sold cheaper because thy have supply I dump is not the answer. Te question, what is causing the extra room supply all of a sudden that weekend when there wasn't supply is past weekends.

Have a look at Chinese holidays. You will see China had the May holiday on April 29/30 / and 1st. All those travellers who would have gone to HK from China (80% of HKs hotel business derives from China) went the previous weekend. Can I go back to sleep [url]now.yawwwwnn[/url]

Hotels in Hong Kong usually have a higher price, up to double their usual rates in late October / November and April when it is so called winter or colder months, so if you are looking at that time, yes, you will be dearer than your corporate rates, and in February when it rains buckets every day it will be cheaper to buy direct rather than use the corporate rate. Just mix and match, but some companies get this corporate rate and insist everybody use it, so be careful, you don't want to appear a smart arse and show up the purchasing guy.
