In case anyone is keeping score, I got a PET/CT scan in early May 2010 showing my cancer returned again. It showed a sizable tumor on my neck (confirmed to be cancerous by needle biopsy) at the edge of the region that was radiated in January and February 2010. It also showed two tiny indeterminate spots on my lungs; if those tiny spots turn out to be cancerous, I'm probably done for as they're difficult to treat. (In fact, my doctors gave me a very poor prognosis and all the medical staff look at me rather doe-eyed these days.) Without more treatment, I'm dead for sure; so I'm forging ahead.
Last week I had surgery to remove the tumor in my neck. The surgeons were VERY upbeat about the outcome as they think they got all the "gross" disease with clear margins. When they started the operation, they thought they probably would not be able to get it all -- just most of it. (However, since there may still be unseen microscopic disease in my neck, I'm pushing hard to get yet another round of chemo-radiation treatment next month.) If I'm lucky, this will finally eradicate all the disease that began in my tonsil and spread to my neck.
The surgeons are also happy that I seem to be healing well. They had to use the larger pectoral muscle from the left side of my chest to patch up the hole that they left in my neck after removing the tumor. The big worry in doing this was that it might not heal properly (because the surrounding neck tissue had been irradiated twice before). Thank goodness it worked! This leaves me pretty disfigured, but its giving me a chance at survival (so I'm not complaining at all).
I'm still worried about those two tiny spots (one on each lung). PET scans are notoriously unreliable (high rate of false positives, as well as high rate of false negatives) but its the best test we've got for the lungs. I hope to get another PET scan before starting chemo-radiation. If the spots are not gone, I'll probably start some long-term chemo-therapy after radiation... with the intent of treating those spots *as if* they are cancerous. I really wish they could just go inside me and cut those spots out (subsequent biopsy would determine whether they were cancerous) but the doctors keep telling me this is impossible. Maybe I'll get more opinions after the chemo-radiation next month.

While its true that certain variants of HPV cause genital warts, the more worrisome thing is that certain variants of HPV cause cancer. I know, I just finished a year of treatment for Tonsil Cancer caused by HPV version 16.
As a brief synopsis, I was diagnosed in March 2009. Underwent a tonsillectomy (for diagnostic purposes) then 9 weeks of chemo starting late April 2009. In July 2009, I started 7 weeks of a combined chemo-radiation therapy, which was intended to be definitive. But I still had a lump in my neck, so I underwent neck dissection surgery in December 2009 and they found more active cancer. Consequently, I underwent another 6 weeks of combined chemo-radiation therapy starting early January 2010. This (hopefully final) treatment is now complete, so all I need to do now is recover.
HPV thrives in mucosal membranes and can cause cancer in any of them: including the cervix/penis/anus and the oral/nasal/pharyngeal regions. I'm unsure whether or not HPV can live (and cause cancer) in the esophagus, stomach, or intestines.

Existing HPV vaccines are prophylactic (only) and so are recommended only for children, before they've had sexual activity. These vaccines only protect against selected variants of HPV (including some variants that cause cancer and some variants that cause genital warts) but they do not protect against all variants of HPV that cause cancer or genital warts.
Nearly everyone who has been sexually active has been exposed to some variant of HPV. Even if you were exposed to a variant of HPV that causes cancer (or warts), this does not mean you will get cancer (or warts). I've seen some reports saying the body can clear itself of HPV, and other reports saying that HPV can remain in the body for decades (without causing any untoward effects). Your posts about speculating whether or not you got problems with your manhood having sex with condoms made me wonder in what world you must be living. I'd almost call it common knowledge that sex with condom isn't the same as without. No need to go to mongering forum for that in particular. So, boys, relax, it's not age related. Now I'll have to take this medical exam for HIV and Hepatitis A, B and C in a few months and I'm a bit worried about the Hepatitis tests because I hear it is easy to get compared to HIV.
My question is, what STD's are possible to transmit from a girl giving you BBBJ?
Is herpes what I should be worried about or other STDs as well?
I don't have any symptoms.

BBBJ is a relatively safe activity for men (it's less safe for the woman involved). Your main risk would be herpes and maybe gonorrhoea. Gonorrhoea can be caught in the throat and transmitted through oral sex.
If you always use condoms for penetrative sex, your risk of HIV is basically non-existent and unless you've shared injecting equipment, your risk of Hepatitis C is even lower. Hep C is a blood-borne virus and is highly unlikely to be transmitted sexually.
Hep A can be transmitted by water, food, even unwashed hands, so you're just as likely to catch it sharing cups in your office as you are from a BBBJ. You would probably have physical symptoms shortly after contracting it.
Hep B is transmitted by body fluids and can be caught from sexual activity but, again, the woman is at more risk than the man when it comes to BBBJs. Hep B can make you quite sick, but it's possible to have it without any symptoms. I'd say it's unlikely you would catch Hep B from a BBBJ.

You're welcome! Like you said, UTIs are really common in women and it could be caused by a million different things. I'd say it's pretty unlikely that your activities would be responsible.
That said, it's *possible* that BBBJs could lead to something like gonorrhoea, which you could then take home to your partner. Gonorrhoea often doesn't show symptoms in men, and almost never produces symptoms in women. If your partner believes you are being faithful to her, she won't think to ask her doctor for STI testing and something like gonorrhoea, chlamydia, or herpes could go undiagnosed for years.
I doubt you've put her at too much risk, but now might be a good time to think about whether the joy of BBBJs is worth the pain of infecting your partner and having to explain how it happened! I know you're being careful, so the risk is pretty small, but it's always a possibility. I'm not trying to be preachy - the decision is totally up to you - but as a woman, I can't help seeing things from your partner's perspective. :)

No, but condoms have broken on me two times. You pull out only to see Mr Happys uncovered head say hello. The rest may be in place and appear ok. Use your own tested quality stuff. There are a lot of low performance and/or ill-fitting and/or aged condoms out there.
