Because she speaks enough English and has such a good sense of humor, I just really enjoyed being with her, in bed and out. I met Paola last year at Campo, and we became friends. I also took her out for day trips.

What made me laugh is DT's suggetion to be [b]generous[/b] with Paola. High points:

First day Sunday, had a blondie from Colombia, rm 127 (Estrella aka Valentina), great personality, nice rack, loves to laugh and speaks above average English. Had nice time with her. Havana, must be opened. But i do not really like it, especially if you compare it to Campo. At the entrance you pay 5FL to get in. It's dark and not too nice inside. On the parking lot some supposedly hungry guys would beg for money. But once we picked up two nice freelancers outside. So ones in a while it's ok there.

Las Tasca used to be a nice place, but i believe it was closed long time ago.

The exchange rate does not fluctuate like in the DR, its fixed. In campo if you use dollars ar the bar its 1U$ is nafl, 1.75 a drink nafl 6 is $3.50. The going rate for regular service is u$ 30,
If you use atm machines the bank is selling you guilders at the going rate.
As soon as you get outside the airport there is a bank with all the rate's posted.
You can trust that bank its the mcb bank.

The cost of TLN's at Campo (from my experience) varies considerably due to:

1) the chica's popularity
2) the time that you expect to begin the fiesta
3) the chica's mood and how much she wants to be with you (or not)

That said, the average price I've paid for a TLN at Campo (before tip) is in the 400naf range. Of course, the most popular chicas will demand more. I had one chica refuse an offer of 550naf! OTOH, I've been offered a TLN for 100-200naf a few times.

As far as the tip. Well, that's a personal thing. It depends on how much you've enjoyed your time with the girl, and how much you're comfortable spending. I don't mean to evade the question. It's something you have to decide for yourself.

Here are the directions to my 2 favorite snacks

1. Know as Pizzo @ Jan Theil. This is very nice atmosphere and upper end building. Sets on top of a hill with a great view. Frequented by the higher end. A lot of guys bring thier "dates" up there. It is nice. I have picked up girls at the Herrin before and had them ask me to take them there. The waitress are avaiable for take out after the place closes, around 4 am. Never been disappointed. There problem here is a lot of the girls are bought in and the chance for taking them out is low. I have got #'s and meet them later.

Directions start on ring road and go toward Salina/Caracasbaai, by turning at the KFC. Keep on the road to Caracasbaai, ( slight interpution here there is a little dive bar right as you go through the roundabout called Coyote Ugly that has girls avaiable late at night). Turn left Jan Sofat at a green apartment building on right. go to top of the hill turn leftgo about 1/2 mile and turn left on a side road dirt. You should be able to see the place lite up at night. At that left there are some mounds of dirt there( been there a year so I guess they are staying), there is a power pole almost in the middle of the road and some asphalt mounds with stripes directly in front of you. The place is about 100 yards on the left. Cannot miss it.

#2 This place is a dive (accounts for why I like it). It has a lot of local guys exact opposite of the spectrum from the first place. It has 10 to 14 girls at any time. They are paid 25 guilders to work the bar. That is sit with customers and hustle beers. You can get snacks there, tostones are okay. I have found someting I take out about 1 time out of 10. But those have been gems. You are not far from Campo. To leave you have to pay the 25 guilders, unless it is when they close.

Directions. Ring road againtake a right just past the Vandis gas stationat Rio Canario. Just past the subway and before the McDonadls you will see a big cementery, turn right. You will come to a fork in the road, there is a little green grocery warehouse, bear left. ( If you keep going there is a snack about 2 miles on the left you will see a blue wall and a place people have been parking never found anything here to my liking) turn right at pink house on left ~100 yards, dirt roadgo to top of the hill, do not go over the hill and bear left you are in the parking lot of the snack.
