The places Reina Club in Elmadag, Thailand Club in Taksim and some places which run those kinde services in Istanbul and their names I do not know and remember are shit. They sells very very high prices for its guests. A bottle or a glass bier cost €50.00EU. aimitation sparklimg Champagne sometimes cost nearly €1000 - 1200.00EU. All those places charges Crazy-shity prices.

Keep away from those places in Istanbul. The same places you can also see and go in Budapest/London/Moscow- some bars/club in Prag as well.

you can get a pre-paid card easily from Türkcell, Telsim or Aria. There are many shops who sell these cards everywhere in Turkey. Just fill out the application form in these stores and show your passport. It is like 10YTL to open your line and this includes about 100 units. Türkcell is the most expensive of the providers, but it also works in every single village. Telsim is second and Aria at least covers all Turkish cities.

you can change USD or Euro in any money-exchange shop in the country. Today's rates are:

1 USD = 1,26 YTL
1 EURO = 1,66 YTL

Thanks Local Expert for your adivec about SIM cards - it really sounds like it is worthwhile to get one as they are so cheap and it will certainly facilitate communications for mongering. At the very least, it will be a lot cheaper than using the hotel telephone.

One last question before I depart for Istanbul next week is regarding currency. Do the ladies generally accept US dollars or euros or YTL or does it really make no difference? I wish to bring the most convenient currency.

I must say that I have been really touched by the generosity in the assistance given by members here, especially with you taking the time to communicate where applicable by PM.

Maybe it would be time to take the discussions on this thread "back to bascis"? (No slight to YH intended; I'll greatly miss his insightful postings.) At any rate, I am not afraid of being attacked or "outed" by the wild people who seem to have infiltrated this part of the forum, and the explanation is the following: my wife knows full well that I like the P4P scene, and my occasional mongering trips to Istanbul take place with her consent. (I don't necessarily mean APPROVAL, but...) Consequently, anybody phoning her to tell about my Antics in Aksaray would be rewarded with... a shrug of the shoulders.

I spent a few days in Istanbul last week and, naturally, went back to all my old haunts: Irmak and neighbours, Pig Bub, Gold Can, Sultan Club and so on. I would have to say that the ambience seems to have changed a bit, perhaps reflecting the election of this new Islamic-leaning government in Turkey. - Not inside the bars, I don't mean, because here the action goes on pretty much as it always did, but along two other parameters: visibility and privateering.

On the first point, bars other than the ones purporting to be discos have turned off their neon lights and stopped their chauffeured services (not a bad thing either - extortion, that was...) to people leaving with a girl. Hotels other than the ones catering specifically to the scene have become more restrictive, and the girls who used to be thrilled if someone would wine and dine them appear afraid of being seen in respectable public places such as restaurants with a client.

On the second point, the supply of particularly young women seems to have dwindled, and the reason is that the police is applying a much harder line against girls who work on a tourist visa. Most of the working girls you see these days are those who have paid their way to a Turkish passport.

At the same time, I was told by fellow mongers that the scene in Taksim (which I scarcely know) remains as liberal as ever. OK, enough sociology. I don't usually write much about my exploits on the sheets, but in case anyone cares here is a rundown of my activities during my three days in town:

Day 3: I finally had some luck in Gold Can. Later afternoon the selection was good, though my favourite, a young Russian with a ponytail, was saving herself for someone else. Bizzie your question is good.

My experience is that most girls will say yes I will do everything, but sometimes is not so true.

You just need to ask specifically for what you want to do and they will answer openly (progirls are used to this kind of questions).

Maybe Negotiation is not really proper but talking with the girls is necessary. She must understand what you want and you'll know what her service covers. Most of the EE girls do not like Greek, but there is always exception.

You better ask the girl whether she is open to BBBJ, DATY, CIM, DFK, MG, Russian and Greek.
