Most of the reports here focus on the bar scene, with very little information about street activity. I have found the bar culture in Angeles City to be quite aggressive and hit or miss finding and settling on a good one to take back. I have actually had better luck with freelancers and street walkers there. Can anyone share their experiences or the current situation on the street in Makati? Is it generally laid back and safe or a lot of drama and haggling?
Freelancers _ Right up my alley Fly.
Although a lot of reports here revolve around the bar scene, I've always taken the FL route in Makati and have rarely been disappointed. And it can be very rewarding, with significantly reduced rates and longtime hook-ups, as opposed to paying bar fines, lady drinks and a short time session with limited shots from bar girls.
From the outset, I'd say a lot of it comes down to experience and learning for yourself 'on the ground' and working out what works for you.
I've generally found it laid back in Makati, safe and without haggling. If a Freelancer wants you, then you're calling the shots when it comes to payment, as opposed to the bar scene where 'you want them' and they name the price. With a freelancer, you can basically say, "I'll give you 2 k, a meal and some Red Horse to spend the night. Take it or leave it. ".
At 1 am, they'll take it. Just make sure they have government ID to check into your hotel.
Just beware of the LB's / Baklas. If a streetwalker approaches you and just offers a BJ, then it's a red flag. Unless you're into that sort of thing.
The other thing to consider is, FL's aren't always streetwalkers in Makati. They can be hook-ups organized by hotel security guards, those found on dating sites, or even the girl in a store who wants some after work extra income and who will stay the night in a 'nice' hotel for 2 k and a cheap meal.
My FL lady drinks generally come courtesy of the closest 7/11 before we settle in for the night.
Trust me, you can have a lot of action, for a fraction of the price nailing FL's in Makati.
It might just take some time to learn for yourself how to play the game, which we've all done over-time and learning by our mistakes.
Additionally, once you find a great FL, you can line them up for your next visit in advance. That way, you have everything sorted upon arrival and don't have to stress about going on the hunt as soon as you land.

Thank you PhilJoy and The Cane. The biggest turnoff for me with the bar girls is the change in attitude once getting to the hotel, not all of them, but some, suddenly they are tired, bored, or start giving sob, trauma stories, not to mention the constant nagging of mamasans to push for lady drinks, bar fines. There is much less BS from freelancers. Do you recommend staying in Makati to be closer to Burgos Street, or in Malate near the famous LA Cafe where freelancers hang out?
Can anyone share their experiences or the current situation on the street in Makati? Is it generally laid back and safe or a lot of drama and haggling?
The obvious concerning question is why is the girl on the street / working independently rather than in a safer and high earning bar? The answers can be both red and green flags.
Red: she can't get a job in the bar due to drugs, illness or behaviour issues; she is simply too ugly or undesirable; she is a he.
Green: she is a part timer, only hitting the streets occasionally when bills come in; she has the looks or customer base that means she makes more money by cutting out the middle man; she doesn't want the label or embarrassment of being an obvious hooker or bar girl.
In Makati, I don't do street walkers because she is likely to fall into the former. Part timers or online girls tend to fall into the later.
My last freelancer experience there was over all positive: A PL girl for 4000 LT. Looks, attitude and performance were ok without being exceptional. Easy to find and haggling over price, time etc was probably 5 minutes on WhatsApp.
To add to and expand upon Phil's points on freelancers vs bars:
Numbers are on our side. A busy bar on P Burgos might have 20 available girls. Right now, at midnight on a Tuesday night, there are 160 girls under 30 active on PinaLove within 20 miles of P Burgos. Add in all the other sourcing options.
The cost of barfines and tips has been widely discussed. However, the the externalities of regular and lady drinks isn't trivial. Especially so if you are vaguely fussy and it takes a few bars to find Ms Tonight. Sourcing costs for a freelancer might be P200 for a taxi.
The days of every Bargirl being a 9 or 10 are over. Sure there are some cuties but I'd suggest most lookers have the option to work alone online or off previous contacts and not having all the hassles and costs of working in a bar. The prettiest girls naturally gravitate to where the money is and that's online.
Many guys also aren't big drinkers or don't enjoy the bar scene.
Some part timers or street walkers are simply down on their luck tonight and are far less professional or hardened than long term bargirls. No need to get too emotional or starry eyed but many are actually sweet girls in a desperate situation.
Bars do have their place but freelancers and street walkers can be a real option. Just keep your eyes open.

Vitamin V
Found some blue vitamins at the Mercury Drugs on Makati Ave (see pic) for p120 per pill (100 MG). Unbranded, Kohagra (formerly known as My-Dix-A-Floppin). Same price I been getting them there for almost 2 years.

I fly in and out, so I bring my own supplies of blue vits, but always a good back-up.
The staff have always been so helpful with other medical supplies.
The tiny, cramped 7/11 just up the road is usually where I stock up on my first night of beer.
Just got to swat away the street kids demanding cash to open the door for you to get in.

I can't really add any more as he's basically nailed it regarding FL's.

Imagine paying all that money on mamas, LD's, bartender tips and the like, only to wind up with someone who doesn't want to 'put out' when you get them back home.
Sure, the bar option is an easy grab. But with some time, research and patience, you'll discover the FL route can be very rewarding.
And it's not all about the money.
I've found that over time, the freelancer you'll get to spend the whole night with, will actually have a personality and it becomes less of a transactional relationship.
She'll tell you her life story, you'll tell her (certain aspects of) yours and then you'll both eat, shower, drink and exchange pleasantries. Well maybe not in that order.
Basically Fly, there's proof that you can have an awesome time without having to go down the typical bar route.

The main attraction for many guys to monger in the Philippines is the availability of BBFS. Many roll the dice. This can be justified for a partimer or freelancer who might be picking up a customer here and there*. It's a totally different scenario for girls whose job it is to literally find and fuck as many guys as humanly possible. Going bare with a Burgos or AC street walker would be a mater of when, not if, something went wrong. Remember these girls don't get regular checks like bar girls. And with the number of different possible sources, it could very well be some weird strain that takes a lot more than a few tablets or jab in the arse to fix.
Have fun but tread wisely.
Enjoy G.
* Before anyone flames me, yes I am aware that accurately predicting which box a girl fits into can be a minefield. Regardless, I'd trust a girl late on rent a lot more than a meth head out side Phillies bar.

Mid-Week Arrival
I'll be arriving in Makati on a Tuesday Night / Wednesday morning. As a general rule how's the action / vibe during that time? Thanks.

Regarding Burgos bars and SW, Sun-Monday are the slowest times (fewest girls), Tues-Thursday more girls, and Fri-Saturday the most. Being there at a slower time is not necessarily bad for you; it might mean fewer gents per girl for you.

Not outside Philly but on the side lanes. I've met girls with regular jobs who wanted some quick cash but stayed in touch for years later. Not just meth heads. The line between online FL Bar girl and SW is mostly indistinguishable as any hooker will use any channel if they need cash. Once you sell sex for money the venue is just a small detail.

Venue
Once you sell sex for money the venue is just a small detail.
I disagree with this 1,000%. For most tutes I know, the venue is a central and major detail, with most of them never, ever wanting to be out on the streets or even working in clubs in certain neighborhoods. Some would even stay away from clubs period and choose to do online only. How you can arrive at such a conclusion flies in the face of knowledge gained from decades of experience. If someone wants to pursue street walkers fine. Not even any reason to have to justify. But if you do give reasons, then man keep it real. The overwhelming number of girls absolutely do care about the venue making it a major detail. It may not be to you, but for most women it most certainly is to them.

However, those with any other options will avoid the street scene. There's a real hierarchy of hookers and girls slide down it as looks or options start to narrow.
I've had girls refuse ot even meet me when I stayed on Burgos because they don't want to be seen in the area.
Yes, there are diamonds in the rough in all markets.

Personally I think that they are just lazy and don't like to work the long shifts. Whichever the case, they are plentiful in AC and most of the guys that are there for long stays, or live there take advantage of these girls. They are all online and a lot are pretty damn hot. If you are a ST kind of guy, then these girls are right up your alley as for many years they were all 1. 5. Unfortunately I've just been to AC this past Halloween, and the prices have gone up, now they are all 2 k for these part time girls. One of my regulars makes way more money part time than she did working the bar. She pretty much sleeps all morning, gets out of bed in the afternoon and works a quick one here and there, often times disappearing for days as her clients take her on vacation adventures. In the last 5 years she has bought land, house, and car in her province. A lot of these girls know each other (many live together) so it is very easy to accumulate a lot of numbers from just one girl. In my opinion for the most part the sex is way better with the part timers, I can go out drinking with friends, and toward the end of the night if I don't see anything I like, just text a girl to meet and its all good. Even the ones not or have not been in the profession prior all get nasty for some ST cash, the only difference is the timing. The ones that have regular jobs during the day / night is harder to last minute schedule for a ST session.
