I haven t heard stories of cars full of girls / or encountered te situation in Beijing for 3-4 years at least. Not saying it s not happening just saying probably not common anymore. But it used to be the case indeed. Again I only comment on my personal experience or what I heard from girls I lnow in this industry and I ve never heard of I'd cards kept away or other horror stories in Beijing. On the contrary I ve always felt that people in Beijing had a strong entrepreneurship behavior and whenever they could go independent they would.
Would be interesting to have other Beijing senior members comments on this.
As regards your second point effects of ice on libido are well documented indeed and your story is interesting. I m not going to tell my life story but about 4 years ago I used to be very close to a WG in Macau who was taking ice to be able to make it. I ve seen the effects very up close on her and haven't seen anything similar on other girls in mainland China (except in Guangdong maybe). Again I m not saying it does not exist, just saying that I haven't encountered the case despite my rather long tenure in China. I will investigate a little on this to make up my own opinion. I ve encountered more cases of gambling and girls whoring to pay off gambling debts.

I would guess you did not do a drug test with them, right? Before I used to get more "deep into the scene", I would have told everyone exactly the same, but if you get more "close" to the sauna managers and girls, you will change your point of view.
Two years ago I started to meet one of my regular sauna girls outside the club and after some month when she and her friends started to trust me, I also have been invited to their parties where I could figure out, that many of this girls used to smoke ice (crystal meth), several of them even with Chinese customers together (It seems to be same popular in China than Cocaine for the "high society" in western countries).
I could see a very clear connection from the sex business with this drug. Who ever smoked ice, will know, that it will help the girls not to get tired, it doesn't matter how long their shift will be, the time will run much faster and additional they get more horny and they will have no problem to sex around for hours.
All effects of this drug are useful for their business, that's why so alluring for the girls. But for sure all girls I met have been fare away from the typical crack hookers I could see in american movies. From all the girls I later found out they regularly smoke ice, I never had any suspicions for month, so I would guess, if you met some more working girls in China, you also will have met some girls under drugs, but not so obviously, that you could realized it.
