Unfortunately Philippine customs have a habit of grabbing parcels & making up imaginary numbers for 'etax' to extort from recipients before the parcels are released. I sent an older laptop but charged tax as if it was brand new, gave up arguing & let them have it rather than give in & pay the BS charge. Sent a box of religious books, box arrived in the recipients hands with a big hole torn in the top & empty, but not before the recipient had to pay some bogus collection fee. Galling.

They normally take 6 weeks so the delay is marginal. I am now the proud possessor of a years supply of typhoo tea bags. LOL.

A lot of companies are shifting to air freight to bypass the port; for companies that live and breathe just-in-time delivery a delay of a few days is a major headache, once it becomes weeks it's a catastrophe. A friend is scrambling to find space on flight(s) for 36,000 kg of textiles. It's practically unheard of to air freight bolts of fabric, but his company has a garment contract that has to be fulfilled. He already knows he'll have to ship the finished garments by air cargo too. Anyway, depending where you ship from it may take more time than usual to have your parcels dispatched. Freight rates follow the law of supply and demand.
Recently there was some discussion about cleaning up after a girls visit and I found something else that needs to be checked. All of my girls know that I see other girls, but even so I don't like to be too flagrant about it. After a girl (s) leaves I do clean up, just not to the extent some of you go.
The other day one of my regular girls spent the night and in the morning, as she got ready for work, I made her coffee and a light breakfast. Being well trained she washed, dried and put away the dishes; then headed off to her job. That night I had 2 more of my regular girls stay over for a 3 some, next morning I also made them coffee and breakfast (girls love it when a guy cooks for them; even something simple like eggs and rice). Girl 1 grabbed a coffee mug, filled it with some fresh brewed coffee and after adding about 1/2 pound of sugar she was about to take a sip when she noticed some traces lipstick on the rim of the mug. Busted!
We had a good laugh about it, but some of you more anal retentive guys should take note to check your coffee mugs / cups as well as your drinking glasses before the next girl uses one of them.

But seriously this is a problem and you are lucky that you had someone who saw it as fun as many don't. One friend luckily found a red g string hidden under the pillow (well inside the pillow case)- a pinay did this so his wife would know he was being naughty in the hope she would kick him out and he would marry her (well she was 50% correct but that happened later).

To the OT matter. My post was not a complaint but an observation and I was trying to take a little heat away from the newbs that complained. I agree that before someone complains there should be some contributions by BMs.
What I was attempting to do was point out the origin of off topic posts and that when they are realized just move it to the general forum (like I will do w this OT post, it has taken a life of it's own now).
Also in my original OT post I mentioned that the PI forum has a pretty good history as to other forums e. G. The Medellin Forum. I know because I like to go to the PI and Meddy and so I'm involved w / both forums.
The PI forum is a very well run imo. The PG here is awesome and NOW newcomers are contributing w / great shots thanks to guys like you who lead the way.
I try and only post positive stuff or support another BMs pov and unfortunately I and others are sniped at by (what can I say?) unhappy BMs? All I want to do here is learn, have some laughs, and drool at the great pussy in the PG. I want nothing more. I certainly don't want to wreck another BMs day or make life tough but don't be a jerk around here. Lets respect each other and allow for observations and opinions to flow freely w / out the sniping, insults and slurs.

I haven't been to any for some years, but most in Manila used to have quite strict dress standards. No jeans or shorts for guys!
Spent a week in Manila. Brief impressions, many gorgeous women and friendly people. Only real downside is the traffic which is an iron gate to travel. I will not spend 90 minutes each way to go 3 miles.
Best suggestion is to pick a mongering area and stay as close as possible. KiwiBoy mentioned staying right next to LA cafe, or close to the EDSA Complex would be good choices.
If your working the freebies or home delivery they can come to you. However always expect them to be late.
