Pattaya Reports

I met Mr. Enternational today & he should be called Mr. Kool. Mr. E. Is a fountain of knowledge. I met him around lunchtime & he took me on his motorbike to see the soapies & the bars on Soi 6. The soapies cost 1800 for full service but I didn't participate. It was very fun to see the girls in the "fishbowl". All nights include unlimited soft drinks, beer wine, & whisky but Saturday they roast an entire pig & more seafood. There are 15% off coupons at the restaurant.

Before going back to my hotel, I stopped in to get another 200 baht full body massage at Be Happy On Soi Post Office. I saw the same girl as yesterday that offered me 500 baht BJ that I declined. Well following the advice earlier in this forum I took myself and my girlfriend to Devils Den during our Thailand holiday. She is very open minded and happy to try things and is OK with my being with other ladies as long as she is there with me.

Walked into DD and was greeted by John. I think, is he american? Anyway, very nice guy and talked us through the options. We came with the view of taking one girl but he explained that since we were a couple, the price for one or two girls is the same (since the one girl have to serve two clients?) The logic was lost on me but hey, why not two girls!

Nice reception area with mutltiple computers where one can review the girls, turned out there was only 4 availble at that time (7 PM) , and none that both of us liked so we picked two girls for the following night.

Overall, we felt that most of the Pattaya girls were substandard and not that good looking, and that we really would have to take some time looking around in order to find the quality we are looking for.

I know this should be in the Pattaya Hotel thread but I can't find it so I'm posting here.

I'm presently staying at the Pattaya Bay Resort for 999 baht per night for a standard room with a / see, wi-fi, free breakfast, pool, gym, etc. The current promo is pay for 6 nights & get the 7th free! There was a miscommunication on the length of my stay so I might have to change hotels tomorrow morning.

I found another hotel that is only 1 or 2 minute walk from Beach Road, just around the corner from Royal Garden Plaza. Pattaya Nobel Place 1 is very clean & very new. 700 to 500 baht gets you a room with a / see, private bath, lcd tv, wi-fi, safe deposit box, & refrigerator but no elevator. It might be cash only. Cheaper by the week. Because there is no elevator. 700 baht for 2nd floor & 500 baht for 5th floor, obviously NOT ADA compliant. The location is very hard to beat!

Can nanyone advise me aout the situations with the floods in and around Bangkok.

I am in Pattaya, scheduled to fly fout of Bangkok at 9. 30 Saturday morning.

I have a few questions for anyone in the know.

Is it possible that the airport wil flood?

Is the highway from Pattaya to the airport safe from flooding.

Is there a rail link from Pattaya to the airport?

Is there any other form of transport from Pata to the airport which mill m ost likely be flood free?

I met up with AMEX SPG last night to check out a few more couple go-go bars. We started at X-Zone where the drinks were 120 baht. BTW, I strongly recommend my hotel / guest house due to location and more importantly, the reception closes at 7 or 8 pm so you are free to take as many guests as you want to your room. Secured entrance using a key card so there is no limit to how many or how often guests come at night. No "walk of shame" as they simply let themselves out (you do not have to walk them out). It may not be important to others but the shower has the most water pressure that I have ever encountered in Thailand! I really like a strong shower with unlimited hot water due to the in-line water heater with temp control. Rooms are 500 to 700 baht.
