Health Insurance if you're not coming from America should be done through SolWays Cuba for $2 per day.

Even if you plan to only eat alone, that food budget is a bit low unless you're only eating 1-2 times per day OR you're sticking to "café-style" spots. Which is fine. I'm just making sure you're aware.

And that emergency budget is a little light. But other than that it seems fine.

No problem at all. As for the topic of pros, it's not so much that I wouldn't get with one. I'm just not into hardcore pros; hence why I stay away from Habana Vieja unless I have something to do there. Well that and the girls there tend to look a little "crackhead-ish" to me; but I digress.

Vedado and other areas of Havana have been my go-tos for finding girls that are up for play but aren't looking to get railed by gringos every day or every week LOL (or in a lot of cases has never met a gringo).

I'm biased though. I'm fluent in Spanish so that makes hunting in a normal barrio like 10 times easier. If I hadn't learned Spanish from my time in DR, maybe my opinion would be different.

Then I had their number and could text a translated message confirming the pick up address. That worked well. The only problem was when the app didn't want to open due to a weak signal.

Just want to let folks here know how to get around the issue of ISG's mistyping what you type.

Well once you find something that's been spelled or misspelled whichever the case might be in a different way that you intended it, you have AN HOUR to correct it.

Notice at the bottom of the post the link (EDIT POST) to undo or change any part of your post. You click on this link and from there you get access to change your post anyway you want.

After making any changes you again hit the upload link (SAVE CHANGES) and voila, whatever you meant to express in your post is now done.

Hope this helps you guys out.

P.S., just as an example, the "Ñ" is automatically changed to an "N" so anytime I write Espanol I have to change the N back to with method I describe above.

I am new to this forum and read through some posts already and was not sure to find the answer so far. So Anyone who could help me please?

Going to La Havana next week and I am struggling to find discreet Air bnb where I could bring girlfriends possibly 2-3 times a day. So I am guessing that I should avoid all building where it is mentioned "checkin with staff building staff" or 24 h building staff or security on site.

The problem is that it is pretty much all air bnb that I am seeing so far.

Plus how do you deal with landlords, do you ask them if you can have visitors or guests overnight and sending their ID? But I suspect that most of them will find this suspicious and not be happy to approve my request.

The only few locations where it says self check in drop box are quite far. From the action areas.

Thanks for sharing any tips on this. That would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for swear words or single letters you would use to describe the bust size of a woman.

That would be appreciated.[/QUOTE]I can't give any advice on a particular place, but 'check in with building staff' and 'check in with lockbox' should be taken with a large pinch of salt. I've enquired about verious places with both descriptions and on several occasions the host said that they would meet me on arrival with the keys. Very few places will have 'building staff' but they will have a host meeting you or perhaps a local resident.

The important thing is to ask the host before booking if you can have guests come to the airbnb. Also, check the rules to rule out any ones that specifically say no guests or no cubans can come to the place. Many will say that you can bring guests no problem. As with everything, just be discrete about it as you will likely be in a block with neighbours.

Just scroll to the bottom and click on "house rules". If it doesn't say "no visitors allowed", then you're good to go. It really is that simple. I would discourage against asking if visitors are allowed because everyone knows what that means and you don't want to expose yourself like that because now it's officially in your messages and your host might feel obligated to follow the official rule of registering every guest.

Don't ask, don't tell will always be the best policy here. They know why you're coming, no need to actually say why you're coming.

I could be wrong but I think that's a privilege reserved for senior members on the forum. I don't remember seeing the option beforehand. It's totally possible that I never noticed it though.

Not sure about the "privilege" you mention, regular vs senior member. One thing for sure it's very EASY to miss the link (EDIT POST) I remember becoming aware of this link early on, not sure if at the time I was a regular member or a senior one.

I suggest next time you make a post pay particular attention once you upload it. You'll see the link on the bottom part of your uploaded post. Remember, like I said to be able to change anything in such post you have ONE HOUR only once you upload it.
