Visiting Zona Norte on Crutches
I finished my San Diego business with 2 days to spare and had the urge to go Tijuana mongering, but I was on crutches. Despite the long crutch from JIB parking to Tijuana taxi (and then back) , that is exactly what I did. One suggestion was to take a bus from near UETA parking to Revolution, that is what I should have done. It was one really long trek on crutches and I'll never try that again.
I did a reduced mongering trip, just visiting AB, LC, and HK. It seems half the girls ignored me and the other half were attracted to a monger on crutches. Perhaps I was somewhat of a freak show to them.
Nothing particularly noteworthy except that I would not recommend the 2nd floor at HK on crutches, especially the catwalk between the front and back and the stairs on the south side of the bar. I never realized how dark that corner was.
Selected a girl named Isabel (or Isabella?) from HK, probably mid-20s with long straight natural dark hair and a slender body with large bolt ons. Kept saying "everything for you." I didn't know if "everything" meant anal or kissing or BB or what. Once I finally climbed the stairs to Cascadas and went down the twisted hallway I learned that "everything" meant the same stuff that every other HK girl provides for $60. Still an enjoyable time. My injury is such that missionary is not possible, but plenty of other positions work just fine.
All in all the trip was more trouble than it was worth. Here it is 2 days after the trip and my armpits are still a bit sore from the damn pads on the top of the crutches and my muscles still ache. I'll be back in San Diego in a few weeks, if I'm still on crutches I'll either take the bus across the boarder or I'll skip the mongering all together.
Quick reflection of this past weekend
I was in Tijuana for a one night stay this past weekend and noticed a couple of things. The UETA lot had $10 per day signs up. I couldn't tell if that is a new permanent price or was just a special for the weekend. I know it was $7 in September. Also, when I left Ticuan Sunday morning, I walked around the corner to the OXXO across from Chiki Jai. There was a Diamont cab sitting there as I exited and he asked if I wanted a ride. He mentioned that Hotel Leon (which we were sitting in front of) was a nice secure hotel for around 300 pesos a night and they had some nice 30 year old woman that they could call if you arrived alone. I asked if he was telling me this for kickbacks but claimed that was not the case. He said that he always suggested Mansion or Premier if anyone asked. Seemed to be a "too nice" guy with good English skills who gave me a business card to call him whenever I wanted a ride. Might be OK for it he had caught me on my first ever trip but I just hop in the first available now and don't have the patience to wait on a called cab when every one that passes blows the horn looking for a fare.
