I just spent two days in Manila here are a few tidbits:

- Cafe Havana: around 8pm on a Saturday there was little to no freelancer action. I saw perhaps 8-10 women in small groups, only one of whom looked back at me. Two lady boys did try to pick me up, though.

Also, I don't recommend the restaurant Mr. Rockafeller, an oyster / seafood restaurant on the second level.

- Burgos St: a lot of bars had few to no customers on Friday night around midnight. I took a woman from Dimples. She was very friendly in the bar, a little less so in the room. She was happy to come on her own time so I avoided the 3000p bar fine (I think they discount the amount you spent on drinks). A tip: bring a piece of paper with your phone number on it. The women are not allowed to give out their numbers. Luckily mine was able to memorize mine long enough to go to the dressing room to enter it into her phone as I was leaving. Her tip was also 3000.

- as was recommended in this forum, the Fingers and Palms Massage on Burgos opposite the Makati Palace Hotel does offer extras along with the massage. Don't try to find the massage parlour as all the masseuses are on the street handing out cards: find them. Massage is 300p for one hour in their office or 500 in your room. It was decent but a bit rough. She wanted 1700 for BJ and 1200 for HJ but accepted the lower price for the BJ. It was pretty good plus the added thrill of doing it in a room with thin dividers near the manager and other customer.

I was recently dropped off at a bus station in Cubao. While I was walking along the EDSA, trying to get a taxi, I was looking for Ali Bang Bang, or Bang Bang Ali bars. I did not see them.

Does anyone know if they are still open? It has been a couple of years since I was there last.

These places are really sleaze heaven. Bare floor, with a ring of plastic seats in a circle. Woman gets into the circle, strips off, and then performs her routine. Hands on from the punters is expected. A real contact sport. You buy your drinks in pairs.

A taxi driver told me that there is an even sleazier place in Pasay, but he could not take me there.

There are a lot of regular people going there earlier just for the food and such which to me is actually pretty decent. I used to go to Rockafeller's all the time. Last year the service and food went to shit and I stopped going. Burgos is dying it seems. They don't know how to turn it around. What a shame.

About a year ago, there was a high profile story where a Filipino man wanted to visit Hong Kong for a family funeral. He only had P1000 on him so Hong Kong immigration turned him away. It made headlines in the Philippines as Hong Kong officials were depicted as heartless for not allowing him to attend a family funeral. So it's not just women who are refused entry into Hong Kong due to lack of funds.

By the way, the Philippine government isn't offloading girls solely to curb sex trafficking. They're also looking for girls working abroad (even legitimate jobs) and not registering as an OFW.

If I were your Hong Kong friend, I would fly to Manila and then escort her to Hong Kong. All other forms of preparation, such as ensuring she has a stack full of money, is too risky.

On the other hand, we have to ask, 'which airports? ' I could speculate that the national govt would be happy to have their people go overseas and then send money back home (the longer the better). Why would anybody take Phi girls on a romantic trip outside Phi with all these hassles?

There are plenty of nice places in Phi itself where you can have a romantic vacation. I have taken Thai girls to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos. They do not seem to have problems getting out.

I did not take them to HKG or China mainly because of the hassles with HK immigration.

I stopped in Jools about 7:15 and was greeted by 4 cute girls, I was the ONLY customer. Got a happy hour 2-4-1 SML, and chatted up the group. Was pressed to buy ladies drinks, politely declined for the moment and then wound up buying 2 of the girls and then all 4 a drink at the 200p Happy Hour price. Yes, I pay the prices but because I like the fun and only go once a year (because I go to Thailand more). But, I tell her everytime that the reason there are no customers is because ther owners are fucking stupid. Thailand prices were always cheaper, but, even now I go to Burgos and the prices still keep going up. Its because the idiot owners are now trying to make up for fewer customers by raising prices. (Yes, its true she told me that!)

Please, anyone who reads this and knows the owners, Tell them how stupid they are. They should have a Burgos Owners meeting and work out cheaper prices. Some of the owners own multiples bars which makes it even easier. I'll be in Burgos next week, and already told all my bar girls I will not be paying their bar fines. Last year in 3 nights I spent more than 30, 000p (bar fines, drinks and tips). That's Nuts.

If I am going there late at night, I bring small pieces of paper with my mongerphone number on them, which the girls can text once they are out from their bar. They know the barfine price is high, so often willing to go along with this arrangement. The risk is of course that the girl will not meet you cause she has to go attend to her kid / afraid of getting caught or just doesn't like you. Most will show up as agreed.. I had just one failure, the girl was barfined by another customer after I left the bar so she had to go with him.
