The Sao Paulo thread is much more interesting and more useful now that we are able to get diverse views from different mongers of various backgrounds with different preferences going to Sampa. I've always disagreed with Sperto. There is nothing wrong with carrying short conversations on the forum. The various city forums can get quiet for a day or two. What's the harm in a little conversation? Scroll over it if you're looking for something specific.
In total contrast to your detailed posts ABG, it doesn't do mongers traveling to Brazil much good telling them you banged some hotty you met in a boate unless you have a phone number. I've read many a great story without any details that would help me. In the past, I have met up with girls that members I trusted have recommended and have PM'ed me the contact details. The great thing about SP, there's something here for everyone. Daytime or nighttime, thin or thick, dark or light, fake or natural, low end or high end. No matter what country I'm going to, I've never got caught up in seeking out a specific girl that somebody else had. I don't show up in a town looking specifically for this one or that one, not unless I already had her on a previous trip. I don't need that kind of help nor want that kind of help. What I want to know is generally where can I find the ones who suit my tastes, and who will provide the services I desire? That's what I want to know. The fun in it for me is to then go to those places and discover my own hotties who become the source of my own encounters and stories, which serve as confirmation that this place or that one is a good joint to go to for this, that, or the other kind of sexual services.
Now, maybe it's somebody that another monger wrote about. Maybe it isn't. But I'm not the type who comes here and reads about, let's call her "Fatima", and then I show up looking for specifically for "Fatima" or want somebody to share her contact details with me before I travel. No, the extreme pleasure I take out of this hobby is showing up and finding my own "Fatimas". I don't want or need anybody's phone number. Just point me in the right directions. Then turn me loose! My point is the forum can have different things for different members. I don't have a problem with twice or thrice a week updates on the scene at Scandallo. However, you have to admit the scene changes glacially. You could come back here in three to six months and get totally caught up on Scandallo and the other boates in five, ten minutes. Eventually something hotter will take Scandallo's place and that would be big news.
While I'm not saying it's a prerequisite for posting on a venue, there is obviously a market for detailed reviews and contact info. ABG can tell you which clinicas currently offer the best hunting, but he also provides details of specific girls in the current line-up. The Montreal board where escorts and agencies dominate the scene is having a polite discussion now about whether to select girls in advance of your trip or just rely more on the bookers at brand name agencies. Again, everyone is going to play it different.
I'm guilty and accused by some of being a conversationalist. It's not like anyone has to sort through several dozen posts here at ISG every day. You'll find that the same protesters will jump into a conversation about culture or politics etc. When they find it interests them. Lastly, many of the local sex boards have dedicated threads to miscellaneous topics. Some of them are kind of fun to read. Not only do they make my visits more interesting, I can get on with the girls and the locals better.

[/QUOTE]Given how much YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) there is in this field, it is a bad idea to expect the same results as somebody else. Not to mention that mongers taste vary quite a bit. A 10 for someone may be an 8 for someone else. I always start from scratch, but I do like to hear intel about mongering venues.
