Sosua Reports

It was my 6th trip to Sosua in the last 12 months. Although the daytime chica population has shrunk, I saw little to no difference otherwise.

I spent quite a bit of time in CMP. The owner has redone the place adding huge leather couches to hang out in. Most of the girls will leave you alone on the couch until you ask one of them to come over. Drank a few 100 peso Presidente's and met a real hottie who had red hair and a great smile. Paid her exit fee and took her home for the night. She was amazing, great BBBJTC and she rode me like I was a stallion. She was ready to go in the middle of the night and again in the morning, whenever I asked. I have no complaints at all. I went to Passions (lots of girls later at night but if you try before 5 or 6pm, they are empty)

Late nights at Classico each night and took home hotties each night for 2000. 3000. Each time I told her that I would pay 2000 for TLN but if she was amazing, I"the pay her 3000. Each girls worked her ass off for that extra 1, 000. I agree that making sure that the chica knows how much she is going to make ahead of time. Negotiating after the fact will always cause a scene and sometimes will cost you extra just to get the chica out of your hair.

I walked on many streets with my chicas and didn't see any police or politur at all. The only politur we saw was on the main road from Sosua to Cabarete stopping the moto drivers. THe chica who was with me told me that they are checking for moto licenses.

My chicas each night told me that they had to deal with the politur infrequently and only one had been arrested once.

I have read this site for the last 4 months (since my last visit in January) and heard about the huge changes in Sosua but the only change (less chicas grabbing me during the day) was pretty welcome. For the day time action, I used numbers I collected the night before in one case and in the other two, I told the chica from the night before that I wanted a 24 hour visit and that I didn't expect them to leave til 6pm. So, I had a guest for breakfast and lunch, with lots of fun in between and then she left at 6pm and I got ready for the next evening's action.

I'm ready to go back.

Most Politur and Policia Nacional get very low wages. Probably why Sosua will always have prostitution, some Policia and some Politur have a vested interest in the prostitution business in Sosua. Some pros in Sosua will probably raise their rates to cover their added operating expenses (shakedown money to the policia). Seems monger dollars will be supporting chicas and policia nacional and politur officers.

Is Sosua Bay Club a guest friendly hotel? I haven't seen any recent reviews about this hotel. How far is it from all the action?

Anybody knows when the next bikini shows at NG or any other place in Sosua? Will be there from 2-16 June.

Trying to organize a mid day trip to Blackbeards on Thursday. Including my buddies, it will be 3 of us. If we can get another 3 to split the transportation costs, that would be cool. Thinking of meeting up around 1 pm at Baileys.

Can someone recommend a good driver with a van and let me know the rates?

Also, I think I read somewhere that Blackbeards doesn't allow for short term rental. How is take-out handled? Do the chicas give out there number?

Lastly, is the bikini contest still held?

Nikkon, it was a good thing you didn't stick around trying to be "Captain Save-a-H0e". The Police run that town and even if they don't get her money, her chulo/boyfriend will. What every she loses in operating expenses she will make up for it at Western Union the following week, lol.

Thanks! [/QUOTE]Whatever hotel you are staying at in Sosua just ask them to recommend a driver. They usually have a list. Also, just step outside of your hotel and there are usually a handful of taxi drivers hanging around (especially on Sundays, LOL).

When I stayed at BB's it was 1500 both ways to and from Sosua. Probably could have gotten a better rate but we didn't know any better since this was my first time to the DR and wasn't even planning on going to Sosua to begin with (ended up going the last two of my nights).

I think someone mentioned that BB's is starting to have ST rentals but I am not sure. Ask in the PP forum. If you want to take a girl back to Sosua you have to pay a salida (exit fee) of 800 pesos (I think that is the current rate. Ask in the PP forum).

Try to call ahead and ask what time shift change is. That way you can get there about an hour ahead of it and get the oncoming shift to check out as well.

The Bikini Contest is one of the biggest weekend draws at BB's. Contact them to find out which weekend's they are being held.

Talk about pissing into the wind. Why do you want to make life complicated? You are just adding to your costs and don't tell me the cost is irrelevant if you already have 3 to share the taxi costs but fell you still need 3 more.

If you leave at 1. 00pm you will arrive at around 2. 00pm and Blackbeards will be a bit quietish by then. Not much choice for 3 or more guys if you are planning to take out. (Gets more lively around 5. 00pm).

Where are you all planning to take these chicas to do the deed? Short-term rental of room at BB would be cheapest / most convenient. Or to a near-by cabana? In either case you will be adding significant extra cost.

Or back to Sosúa? If the latter they will expect you to pay their taxi-fare back. (Yes, I know they could get back by publico but, depending how many chicas, it might not be that much cheaper and, being stuck-up little princesas from Blackbeards I can guarantee they will insist on a taxi).

SP321 quoted 1500 for a return trip. As that was from Costambar (where taxis are notoriously expensive) I think that was a good price if the driver was expected to hang around for hours.

I cannot see you negotiating much less than 2000 if you want the driver to wait for you in Costambar for several hours while you choose your chicas and do the deed wherever. If you cannot get the price you want, try walking to the Parada de Puerto Plata opposite Texaco and negotiate for a dedicated carrito. They are always 40% cheaper on the journey price because they are beat-up old wrecks but if you are, in effect, paying the driver for several hours waiting time there might not be that much difference. Also publicos are only comfortable for four passengers so you would need another taxi to take away your chicas.

I would love to hear how this operation pans out with all costs. I reckon you will end up paying double or treble each for the same quality chicas you could find in Sosúa but you could have a real fun outing that would make it all worthwhile.

Thanks![/QUOTE]In my estimation you are going about it in a difficult way. I tried to do the same, realized the hassle and then decided to check out a day early from Sosua and spent the last night and day at BB's. I could do this because I was on a day to day reservation at Plaza Europa Hotel.

I called BB's to see about availibilty and there was room. I checked in BB's in the afternoon, drank some Presidentes, found a nice chica, later had a great wood fired Pizza at "Sol o Mia" up the road with a bunch of the BB's guests and hung out for the rest of the evening.

The next morning had a nice breakfast, found a nice daytime Chica, hung out by the pool and got ready for the airport. The back and forth from Sosua to Costambar isn't worth it when you could be relaxing and sipping suds without all that hassle.

I also don't see the value of just being a visitor at BB's for a few hours and the riding back to Sosua. Stay the night, chill and the world is your oyster. Blackbeards will also make arrangements to get you to the airport on time.

I know your not a newbie as I see you have some posts up here. Just my two cents.

Have you been to BB's before? You didnt ask us but on the surface this idea has many problems unless you have been there before and want to return for a reason. Read Charles post carefully and re-think this idea. Send me a pm if you want me to go into it further.

[/QUOTE]I agree 100. For str8 up mongering, I'd stay in Sosua but I have driven to BBs if I already had a rental and wanted to go in that direction anyway. I usually wind up pulling babes before even getting to Blackbeards, when driving. Check the website for the bikini contest dates. I think they are always on the weekend. I stay far away from Cristal and Bohen. I'd rather do a car wash in Santiago, if I really want to get out of Sosua, which happens occasionally when you have too many chicas hawking you and saying "no otra chica!" when they see you.

If a chica is feeling you, she wants to fck you and the pesos are just icing on the cake. That chica network gets the word out fast when a money train comes into town.
