Freebies or Expensive Liaison?
An acquaintance was just bemoaning the recent expensive shopping trip his "girlfriend" and her sister took in Hong Kong with him along as the ATM machine. (Nop, he did not get a 3 some out of it). He met her at a KTV. Add to that: renting her an expensive apartment, 5 figure monthly allowance. Etc. One can get a different top model at the sauna or an outcall girl each night and have left-over for a beer.

Kang Ding, Manhattan's and Judy's
Was in SH around CNY, and definitely slim pickings. Will have to return and take a look during a non-holiday time.
First night decided to try the pickup bars, my only other experience in a pickup bar being HK. Whereas in HK the girls are all Filipina, here the girls are all Vietnamese. Quality was so-so, probably because of the holiday. I went around 10:30-11 pm on a weekend night, and approached the cutest girl in the place (IMO). Tall, slim, well dressed (NOT slutty) and very girl-next-door but could be a model face. Thought we had a little chemistry. But when it came time to discuss price, I was floored-- she opened with 3000, overnight. LOL. I couldn't keep but chuckle a little. And I think she got a bit miffed and asked why I was laughing. I said, it's way too much! And I countered with what everyone says the standard overnight is. 1000. She then said 1500ST. I was like. Sorry. And then she excused herself to go to the restroom and disappeared into the corner. So much for negotiating haha.
Well, I look around again, and don't see any better options, so after 5-10 minutes, I motion for her to come over. She comes over hesitantly, and I say-- before, it's too much. But I can come up a little. How about 1500 LT. She said no, without countering. So I bid her farewell. And off I went to Manhattan's around midnight since it was walking distance.
Strangely, Manhattan's was jumping compared to Judy's. I had read it was the other way around. Anyway, here, settled in for a few drinks, but nobody eally caught my eye, except for one girl. I try to get her to come over, but she just stayed with her group of friends, and after 10-15 min left with the group. I guess she wasn't feeling it. Before I headed out, I went to the bathroom, and on the way in, a real cutie came out, but I didn't get a good look. Well, as luck would have it, I bumped into her again out at the bar, and turns out she is Cambodian?? Easily the cutest one there at this point, tall, with really nice, light skin and a great body. But man, girl's got no rhythm. I wonder if this means bad news in other areas. Well, only one way to find out.
After a drink or two, and a little more "dancing", we head out without discussing price. I assume it'll be 1000-1500 LT max. We get to the hotel, and she says 2000 LT. I say 1500. We settle on 1700. I know it's a bit much but at this point I'm just tired. So I say, 1000 now, 700 in the AM. She (albeit playfully) says no, all now. I refuse. Knowing what will probably happen if I do. So instead I settle for 1000ST, thinking it's probably better for sleep.
So we take a quick shower, and we get right to it, and luckily the rhythm thing wasn't a factor. But it turns out she was on her period?? I don't think she knew in advance, but halfway through she grabs the towel that's on the bed and starts wiping, and I'm like WTF? Well it's all covered so I'm not too worried. But she got freaked out and wanted to finish me with a BJ / HJ. Anyway when we're done she's out of there ASAP, I think embarrassed by her period. Mental note to get fully tested though given the blood.
On my last day in SH, I decide to try Kang Ding. I know it got mixed reviews here, but was super curious, plus it was the closest to me and I had to go to the airport right after. Bottom line is, if you've ever gone to any of the places in Macau, Kang Ding doesn't hold a candle. I don't know if places like Sarcosa or SiYuan measure up (haven't been), but it was a far cry. Tiny lounge area, no real food or drink menu, and the rooms were lit with that odd fluorescent glow like in an old hospital. The whole place looked and felt like a mainland Chinese hospital. The actual bed and shower seemed clean however. And there were only a handful of girls given CNY, and although all were billed as super model types (the most expensive), none of them actually looked it, at least not to me. Still, I didn't have time to go anywhere else and I was already here so WTH. I picked the girl that gave me the best "what the hell" look. (If you've been to Macau, you know what I mean). Most of the girls are advertised as 18-22. She was advertised as 25, but I'm pretty sure she was pushing 30. Still looked good though, very light skin, good body, and nice boobs (though fake).
She was from Taiwan and I can speak Mandarin, so we had some report. I had to ask for the nuru (that they advertise heavily), but the actual session was quite good, she was really into it, and I don't know if that's just because I was able to give her a couple Os too. I was skeptical but she insisted and said it's never happened before. LOL. Either way, but the end, she'd come one more time, and was hot and sweaty, as was I. Got her info for the future, perhaps will see her again, and we chat from time to time. I suppose I got my money's worth! Next time will have to try some of the others to see if they're better, and I would consider trying Kang Ding again if only to see if the selection is better when it's not CNY.

Best Time To Hit The Saunas
I live close to an upscale KTV, and I saw quite a few girls (real nice looking girls) going to work there at 8:30 to 9 pm. In my visits to European clubs, 8 to 9 pm was also when the girls started working (and the hours were early enough before other customers came by after dinner).
I went to a new sauna last week, I was early (for my time) at 7:30 pm. I wandered around till 8:15 pm and then announced myself. But unluckily, a group of 4 men went into the building right ahead of me. When I got to the parade room, there were only 3 girls left, and 2 were much plainer than Jane. The one I ended up would not have won any beauty pageant either.
In my setting up for my next foray, I asked the manager what will be the best time to show up to get more selections. He said 1 to 2 pm, right after the opening hour. Is he trying to get me to go then to fill the slow hours? I would not think that would be the time when there are more girls. Would the case in China be: men sneaked out to monger in the afternoon before going back to the wives in the evenings, and girls want to work afternoons so they can go home to their kids when they are let out from schools? And so what the manager said was true?
What are the veterans' take on the best time to hit the saunas?
