First time to Seoul. Need advice
I am a long time punter to the Philippines and Thailand. I will be visiting Seoul for the first time next month. I have read that only at itaewon station or the hill it's considered foreigner friendly and relatively cheap. Read it should be about 75000 w for FS? Not sure if the prices are out of date though. I will be doing a stopover in Seoul for four days before traveling on to Thailand. Could anyone PM me with some places that I could visit. Otherwise I plan to just go out to Itaewon or the hill station. My visit will be short so I really don't have time to wander and look for places. I had consider calling some escorts but from what I've read they seem to be above my budget and very expensive. PM me or post some locations or advice I could follow. I also plan to use the subway extensively as it seems easy to use and cheap. Please provide the venue name address and basic directions from the subway stop so I won't get lost for the first time there. Thanks.
Slim chance to get caught
Hi guys. I'm soon travelling to Korea for business. Going to stay in the Gangnam area (Theran road) I have read a lot of pages here in the forum, still I have some question I would like to ask you. I know paying for sex is ilegal in South Korea, will the police make life difficult for mongers, and what could be the consequences if caught by the local police?? A heavy fine I guess. Because of my consern of being caught for paying a prostitute in a country where it is ilegal, I am looking for Kissbangs (no law forbids kissing I hope LOL) so could anyone recommend some Kissbangs in thiS area? I prefer quality instead of quantity. Maybe I would try out some escorts aswell, it depends on your answers regarding the law. Thanks for your help.
Norwegian90.
It has been illegal forever, but it is very recent trend for LE to do actual crack down. Also their effort is usually focussed on providers (shops, pimps) to reduce [CodeWord908] related issues. The only occasion I am aware of against mongers is the LE got the phone log from the providers and get the number of frequent clients and summon them, which is normally only targeting Korean nationals.
Even if you are super unlucky and get caught in the site, the only thing happens is write the statement at the police station and get some sort of education class unless you've been already caught more than 2 times even for the Korean people. For foreigners. Well I guess even LE folks don't know what to do.
In general, the penalty on this matter in Korea is really light.
