Hi guys,
Where's the best place to pick up some Viagra near the border?
. The lights came up, the band packed up, Rocky nabbed my jacket and we went out into the frigid night. Grabbed a cab, back to the hotel. Time for a hot shower. No hot water. Grrrr! Time for a tepid shower. Memory is fuzzy at this point. Beers at the club, mojitos at the bar, wine at dinner and about 10 pounds of meat was about all I could take. I remember DATY and some 69 being involved, but that's it. Oh, and Rocky snores like a lumberjack.
Yet another grounding with an excellent report. I'm seeing Phord as our answer to Anthony Bordain. In all seriousness and with respect. Nice to see a bigger picture. What's a mojito, again?
Yet another grounding with an excellent report. I'm seeing Phord as our answer to Anthony Bordain. In all seriousness and with respect. Nice to see a bigger picture. What's a mojito, again?
Wow. Thanks. Anthony Bourdain is one of my heroes.
The mojito is a Cuban drink. Many, many years ago a mojito was a rum drink sweetened with molasses, two things Cuba had a lot of. Nowadays it's mint, sugar, light rum and club soda. Similar to a mint julep with rum instead of bourbon. It was said to be Ernest Hemmingway's favorite drink.
Too many USA places use 7-Up or similar instead of club soda, which, IMHO, yields a drink far too sweet. And often the bartender is too lazy to properly muddle the mint, instead just chopping it up and stirring.
Hi guys,
Where's the best place to pick up some Viagra near the border?
Several large pharmacies adjacent to McDonalds would probably be the closest.
I remember DATY and some 69 being involved, but that's it. Oh, and Rocky snores like a lumberjack.
Sounds like someone is married up and off the market!:)
What was your overall opinion of the town?
We woke up late on Sunday. Neither of us are morning people. After dozing off and on, Rocky took matters in hand, as it were. She does a pretty decent HJ, which was a great way to start the morning.
We finally dragged out asses out of bed. Surprise, we had hot water! After hot showers it was time to do a little sightseeing. First stop, the coffee shop. I didn't realize how big this place is. I wandered into the lobby bar looking for coffee. The bartender said I needed to go to the coffee shop. I asked him where it was, he came out from behind the bar and was going to show me when a manager of some sort happened in. He told the manager and suddenly we were being escorted to the coffee shop, then seated by the manager, then personally waited on by him. Weird. Totally VIP, but I have no idea why.
After fortifying myself with several cups and some toast it was time. We needed to wander a bit, needed to buy Rocky some shoes, etc.
Mexicali, as Artsy said, is really spread out. It reminded me somewhat of Houston, I. E. No particular zoning plan, nothing is really within reasonable walking distance of anything else, and it's all pretty ugly. Lots of traffic and the streets are very poorly marked. So, we drove around a bit. Google maps helped a fair amount but didn't seem to be nearly as good in Mexico as it is in the USA.
We stumbled across the bullring. It looked very nice and well kept. It was also closed, so I couldn't get inside to take any pix. But if one likes bullfights this might be a good alternative to Tijuana.
I'd read that the cathedral was worth a visit. So, I'm looking for this large church. We drove past a dumpy little place with a spire. Rocky said that was it. I'm looking at my Google maps (which is taking us a weird direction) and said it couldn't possible be that place. You know, crow doesn't taste too bad if you put enough hot sauce on it.
The cathedral is situated more or less in the center of what was the old downtown. They've turned most of the streets in the area into a low vehicle traffic "pedestrian mall." It better weather it looks as if it would be interesting. Today was cool. Low 60s. And a bit windy, so not too many people were around.
Oh, the cathedral. Don't bother. The one in Tijuana is much more interesting from an architectural standpoint, both inside and out. What a waste of time. Oh, well. There were lots of little shops around. There were two 3 Hermanos, among other places, so we hit one up to find some sexy footwear. Rocky kept looking and saying that those were for putas, these were for brujas, etc. She finally decided on a nice pair. Prices are probably half of what they are in the States.
After browsing around the area a bit more (this was the only semi-interesting area we'd seen all day) she was ready to leave. However, I had other ideas. I couple of short blocks away is their version of the Zona Norte. So, I had to check it out. Rocky had been to Mexicali before, apparently, but not for a long time. She knew of the clubs, I think had been in a couple, but didn't remember where they were.
Anyway, she wanted to know where I was going. I just said it was a surprise. We got to the proper corner, looked across the street and there was Miau-Miau. She smiled an laughed.
The zona seems to be a bit more spread out than Tijuana, but far fewer clubs. But the biggest problem is that none of them are open until 4pm. WTF? It was now 3pm and, had we been in Tijuana, the day shift would have been in full swing. Instead, we chatted up a guy who was cleaning out a small dance club across the street. I was a bit bummed that I couldn't scope things out a bit and report back here. I counted 4 or 5 "mens" clubs, and a couple of "dance" clubs. However, a few appeared to be closed permanently. Obviously the scene isn't anything like Tijuana, but I'd have liked to compare the quality of chicas. I considered returning later. Rocky has some bisexual leanings so it might have been interesting. But taxis are a bit of a PITA and I certainly didn't want to run the risk of a DWG and a DWI. Next time.
We drove around a bit more, then headed to find dinner. There is certainly not much to see here. There are some outdoor activities, supposedly a nice park, etc. But it was just a bit too cold to enjoy being out. During the days it was in the low 60s, but it was a bit windy. It was light jacket weather, but just chilly enough to where you didn't want to spend too much time outside. However, it was clear that the locals were used to much warmer temps. Everybody was bundled up in parkas, ski caps, gloves, boots, etc. They looked like Mexican Eskimos.
I'd run across a TripAdvisor blurb stating that there was a Thai restaurant that was as good as what you might find in Bangkok. Well, I had to check this out. Google Maps to the rescue, as it's to hell and gone across town from the cathedral in a non-descript (but new) strip center. I was extremely skeptical, but what the hell.

The sign outside had the name of the place, and "Pattaya Whiskey Bar" in smaller letters. Hey, this couldn't be all bad, could it? Inside it's rather small, but very neat. Sort of faux teak floor, the ubiquitous wall hangings of elephants and scenes from the Ramayana. We were seated and the waiter came up. He was wearing a yellow polo shirt with the Thai royal seal on the pocket. I have one just like it. I guess they haven't got the word that you don't wear yellow shirts in BKK anymore, for fear of being beaten up by some a-hole wearing a red one. LOL I asked if he spoke Thai, but no dice.
The menu had interesting and authentic-sounding items. A couple of oddities I noticed was that there didn't appear to be any pad grapao (the ubiquitous one-dish meal found everywhere) and the laab was only available with chicken.
Before ordering the owner came up. We had several conversations during the meal. He was very proud of the place. Apparently it's one of only seven Thai restaurants in all of Mexico. He was very proud of the fact that they source their chilis from Thailand, as well as using real palm sugar in their khao neaw moon. He's married to a Thai lady (who is something of a looker) and all the cooks are Thai. He plans the whiskey bar patio expansion this spring, and perhaps a branch in Tijuana next year. Very ambitious. He made a point of telling me that the food was as authentic as he could make it, but they had to tone down the spice significantly because none of the locals would eat it. Damn!
Anyway, back to the food. The som tam was excellent. I wanted 10 chilis, but Rocky doesn't like too much spice, so we settled on 5. I must say it was in the top 5 of anyplace I've eaten it. Oddly, they garnish it with fresh shrimp instead of pounding in the little dried ones. I suspect a Mexican palate thing again. Still, an excellent balance between sweet, sour and salty. Just not quite enough spice.
Next came their version of Tom Yung Kung. Very good flavor, good shrimp. But they had put in an awful lot of coconut milk, to the point where it more closely resembled Tom Kha Kung. Again, to tone down the spice for the locals (there were zero gringos there, as far as I could tell). Then Gaeng Kiew Wan (green curry) which, again, had excellent flavor but far too much coconut milk. The owner stopped by and noted that he liked it spicier, too, but it had to be toned down. Lastly, the sticky rice and mango. The Mexican mangoes don't have the same flavor as the Thai variety, but overall it was very good.
The meal, plus drinks (a tamarind juice and a Tecate) set me back 420 pesos, plus tip. Not cheap, but not unreasonable. So, if you happen to find yourself in Mexicali, and in need of Thai food, this is the place.
The place was closing (they roll up the sidewalks around 8 here on Sunday nights) so it was time to get back to the hotel and prepare for a night of drinking.
Just in the news. Son of Celtics' great Hondo Havlicek was arrested in a sting in Florida on Prostitution charges- responding to a "back page" ad. A sting was set up and the nice provider was a Polk County Sheriff. I have lived in Florida. These fuckheads / LE have nothing better to do. 80 "clients" were arrested. Of course this makes headlines because these "celeb" people are doing what we do "legally" in our little 3rd world country! Yes America the "Land of the Free" will get you a record, possibly cost you a job, get labeled as a sex offender, prevent you from getting another job you just lost, and no doubt your marriage and def your reputation with "NORMAL" people you know.
I've been told (by those who are shit afraid) to go to Mexico because it is SOOOO dangerous, Yet will surf the rags and internet in the USA for sex! You have this to look forward to. It is Not worth it to chance the DANGEROUS USA! IMHO
Chris Havlicek for sure will lose his job as managing director and Palm Beach market manager for JP Morgan Chase Bank. No bank will put up with customers snickering about the horny and stupid managing director.
Prosecution has gone waaaaay too far against people trying to buy and sell sex discreetly. Sex is a basic human bodily needs just like food and water. Repression of sex can only work against the individuals' potentials.
A compromise like Zonas Rojas in Mexico makes a lot of sense, and money. Guys who live near Tijuana are indeed lucky.

He made his choices.
Don't blame the people that reminded him that he fucked up.
hello people,
here is my report for my stay from dec 12-17 in tijuana.
top 5 chicas: (not enough top chica reviews here)
1) esmeralda (hk): $60 + tip. she is a definitely older milf with fake boobs and great curves. bad teeth. she is not someone you would want to pick up. was my last option and last lay for the trip. but boy was i surprised! she turned out to be my top 5 fucks ever. top fuck in tijuana yet. she comes across quite desperate and i saw her on all 5 days when i was there. she does not get much attention as she is older. barely any drinks and almost no salida i saw her take in those 5 days. she always looks bored and rarely makes an effort. she has a good body in my opinion and i went with her because i was curious.
once up in the room when the clothes came off she was actually better than she looked in the club. she was somewhat of a cold fish but her body was simply amazing. 2nd best body i have had the pleasure of fucking. the #1 dd blonde was a chick called alexa who i fucked twice in medellin. her oral (covered) was the best i have experienced in tijuana by far. she was a sight to behold in doggie and cowgirl. i came in missionary as i saw her beautiful supermodel face. i am not exaggerating when i say that. her old looking face looked so much younger as she was under me. by far the best fuck i had in tijuana in all these years.
2) cindy (street walker): goth type street walker girl. platinum blonde (fake) who in retrospect looked like an older miley cyrus (i find miley very un-sexy btw). great sex and oral and everything. i ended up paying a lot for her (willingly) because she is gfe and deserved it. amazing sex and attitude. ended up asking her out on a date etc. will meet up with her if we get the chance.
3) monteserrat (hk): $70+tip. definitely older, older girl. face aging very quickly. but the body of a fitness model. by far the tightest muscular body in tijuana. have repeated her and she was getting no business. she spent 1.5 hrs in my room fucking all the time in innumerable positions and conversation. quite an experience and energy.
4) jamie (adelita): $60+ tip. thin blonde with a great attitude. generally hot chicks are bad in bed. she is the clear exception. she is very popular and is always busy with new or repeat clients. even when i sat with her every 4-5 min a guy would walk up to her with a smile on his face to say hello. this chick is marriage material. great in bed with no bargaining and pretty good service. and quite a looker.
5) erika (hk): $70+tip. friday night rates. fake blonde but a bit flaky. decent service. nothing special i can recall. good attitude. not a shark in my perception. was friendly before, during and after. kept running into her and she gave me good attention even when there was no chance of another salida. i like honesty.
stayed at hotels:
1) cascadas. 5th floor new rooms. basic rooms with no place to store clothes or hook. wifi strength and speed were so much better this time. hot water did not run late into night (4 am) and even when it ran it took a long time (approx 3 to 4 min) to come once i turned on the tap. hot water only in shower and none in wash sink. the shower floor was dirty and there was something red and sticky there during my entire stay. the heating / cooling system was excellent. maybe they have new units in the new room.
the biggest complain i have about these is that they do not honor pepe parking properly. i lived here for 4 days and they honored me parking for only 1 day. told me i should come down to reception every day to collect my daily $5. and pepe parking is more than $5 daily on weekends anyway. so in spite of my making a big fuss about it they paid me only $5. i spent $800-$1k or so with them during my stay. i was mad. but they are cartel-owned i guess so they can do whatever they want.
their new vip card is not vip platinum but is a vip gold. i still have a vip platinum that has not yet expired and they do not offer the platinum anymore. so they reluctantly accepted my card. wtf! the platinum card is not cheap you know. cascadas / hk seem to suck when it comes to customer service.
2) hotel ticuan: still the best hotel in tijuana. great quality. but on the downside they have increased their prices a bit. $67 during the week. can't recall what the old rate was but it was lower. their checkout time is 11am which is a problem if you are partying up to 5am as i often do.
general observations:
1) avenida revolucion is kinda dead. maybe due to christmas but store owners don't even seem to bother opening up their stores on weekday eveningsat6pm. the entire street was kinda dead.
2) hk meseros seemed far lesser aggressive than they have in the past. loved that for a change.
3) adelita is usually my place to relax between fucks. i also usually preferred adelita girls over hk ones in the past. but on this trip hk definitely beat adelita's on the weekdays. on weekends adelita was the better place for me. lesser guys, still good chicas and very relaxed environment. adelita also has much more affordable drinks and the waiters are so chill.
4) street workers in full force in spite of christmas. same with chicas in hk and ab.
5) chinese men still spoiling the fun in hk. they block off the entire section with 10 guys or so and sit down with girls. they do not do salida but may be buying drinks i don't know.
6) worst thing about tijuana and especially hk is that guys tend to wife-up with a chica and buy them 4-5 drinks for 2 hrs of their time. wtf is this? if you want to fuck, fuck. why are you cornering the hottest chicas and wasting your, my and the chica's time? nothing more irritating than waiting for that girl you fancy to get done with some cheap ass guy buying her 3-4 drinks and wasting my time. i have never seen this in any other country on this scale.
7) las chavelas continues to be filled with fatties and local mongers. i passed through a few times but not once did i see anyone in 7+ range. very unlike my previous trips.
8) some real cute street workers. one girl dressed as pocahontas at the malquerida end of the alley. very cute. but negotiating with street workers is not my thing. also i do not like to go to fleabag hotels and i only take sws who go to cascadas. would love to hear reviews of pocahontas. she was dressed in the same outfit (clever outfit) on all 5 days. she got a lot of attention from johns but she seemed to be asking a higher amount. saw this really hot sw with an amazing ass (ass dimples at the waist) below cascadas but she was negotiating details so let her go.
9) other girls i did not like: roxanna (adelita) hot body with fake titties. very cute but poor service. she gets a lot of clients i saw. jimmone (adelita) a girl, most beautiful teeth i have seen with a pretty face and great ass, was so very sweet and is very popular. she was ok overall but not worth my money or my leche. nothing special here besides the eye candy.
border crossing:
totally effortless with a 2 car wait at 11:30 pm on tuesday night.
tip: use the iphone app called border wait time to pick the best time to cross over into us.
This is my exact route when I don't rent a car. When I rent a car I go through otay mesa. San Diego has a great public transportation system. It was very easy the first time I took this route. But if I had this video it would of been just that much easier. Good video.
This is a video I shot and uploaded to youtube going from the SAN airport to the Zone in Tijuana. It is a bit long but a first timer may find it instructional and useful.

(snip)
Nice and detailed FR there, MS Clive. I agree with you, too few individual reviews on the working girls here, we got to work on that!
I didn't recognize any of your other chicas listed, but glad to see Monteserrat is still working the HK, and I'm with you, she's got a GREAT, hard ass, firm body for a woman much closer to 40 than she'd probably like to admit. She's told me more than once she is probably about the oldest gal working HK right now, but she is one laid back, super-cool MILF. I speak passable Spanish and have been entertained for several hours at a time up in Cascadas by this lady. Let her catch up on her televnovas on the room TV when your first round is done and she'll give you another 'rock-your-world' session when it's over! I call her 'cat-eyes' as she really works the make-up a bit, but this lady has a totally open menu, performs with enthusiasm, and has never said 'no' to damn near any nasty little act I've proposed. Hell, I'm clear across the country and you've got me ready to take the time and trouble to get back there just to see her again right now.
Agree with you on the Ticuan as well. Great place to stay and make some arrangements for either high-end Escort hook-ups or after hour TO from the bars. Here's a tip, if you are out a bit late the night before and that 11:00 AM departure looks just too gruesome to face, request a late check-out from the staff. I've been able to get it extended by as much as 2 hours, and if your powers of pursuansion fail you, a $5 tip goes a long way.

I can agree with most, except this good old number 6. I do not go to Tijuana just to fuck. I live 20 minutes away and have established some great contacts over the pass four years, as well as others like me.
Sometimes the girls just want to relax, chat, and drink; as if they are are real women, and not just pieces of meat waiting for the next pounding.
Sorry if you don't understand this concept.
It takes time to establish relationships in Tijuana; I've and others have been lucky to do just that.

Fuckin is fun, but the impersonal lay just does not do it for me. Of course banging a hot new chica IS great, but the "friend" situation is better to me. It is great to have someone (or three!) who know your wants and needs. Sitting and talking to me is sometimes more enjoyable! Of course this is only possible because some of "us" lucky ones only live next door!
To all my ISG buddies, Feliz Navidad.
