This is a pretty strong statement. If it were true then the vast majority of thai people would be dead already. BB with a non p4p girl is much less risky than with a p4p girl. It's just a matter of numbers.

What kind of places are you relating to when you say rubber stamp places? Before i left Thailand in november i made a test at a small clinic in Soi 11, It's called Sukhumwit 11 Clinic. It's in the alley behind Cheap Charlies....

Is that one of the more suspect places maybe?

Suspect logic. You would need to know what percentage of the P4P customers went bareback and how many sex sessions the non-P4P had.

Yes it is a matter of numbers, but its the number of BB sessions done, factored by how risky those types of guys were, and then when the HIV checks were performed. As HIV is not always caught on the first screw, the number of sex sessions could be more important than the number of guys. Thai men are statistically probably higher risk for the girl. In the end, the risk is hard to calculate unless the girl has had very few fucks in the last 3 months and you have a check result to say she was clear recently.

Many innocent Thai housewives caught HIV from their husbands who got it from playing up.

I believe only the girls getting checked regularly and who normally refuse BB, can be considered less risky. Non-P4P girls probably are not getting checked at all and could well be HIV without knowing!

Then you have to bring in intravenous drug users and BB anal into the equation which are very risky.

I wouldn't consider any girl safe without knowing her closely for several months and then seeing her recent test result at a proper clinic that you attended (and were probably tested too)!

david 2, i think you are overstating the danger unless i’m mis-reading it. sure unprotected sex is like russian roulette, which traditionally is about 16.6% effective/unlucky based on 1 round in a revolver/6 shooter (unless you were to pull a deniro, i guess). bbbj is significantly less as natty’s number are probable closer though i still believe it’s less. also, over 100 guys in 2 months also seems over stated. freelancers on suk in front of tony roma’s may be, as i see lot of movement from them whenever i pass. i don’t know what they are charging as they rarely meet my minimum levels, but there definitely is turnover there. bar girls on the other hand are seeing a lot less business and i seriously doubt meet those levels (and certainly not this week). as to a “false sense”, i think that if you’ve been at it long enough you tend to get your own sense if one is paying attention.

so metaphorically, at least in my mind, if full penetration, either vaginal or anal, is russian roulette (and i believe it is) then i believe that a bbbj, only imho, it is akin to a rear infantry position, far from the front line where a stray mortar round or landmine are probably the usual dangers – still war, only much safer – imho!.

I think I'll stick to "condom sense."

Never heard of it but thanks for the laugh, I'm just picturing opening up a clinic called Cheap Charlies now...

A girl I know was told to go to a specific clinic by a well known bar which I will not mention here, the suggestion was more then a suggestion. The clinic did a bull shit exam and testing. This girl ended up paying her own testing at a real clinic. The girl DID have something also BTW.

Since then I've heard various reports from girls in bangkok and pattaya even that they do not trust various clinics. I have no interest in throwing names of the bars out there on just word of mouth by the girls. I get tested monthly for work (full physical, some folks are actually worried what will happen if I die) and there are a listing of acceptable places in bangkok I can go to if I am there when I need testing done.

They are efficient, accurate, anonymous, inexpensive, and reliable. I have heard some funny stories regarding some of the alleyway "clinics".
