Ana,
You are lucky to have found a girl who allows CIM; not may Sri Lankan girls do. The main risk would be to the girl rather than to you. If someone is infected with HIV he would have a high concentration of virus in his semen. This means that if the girl had a sore on her mouth she could get infected. If the girl had previously been HIV positive, the concentration of virus in her saliva would still be low, so there is not much risk to her male partner.

With all the fear of HIV. it's sometimes easy to forget about the other STD's. The chance of getting HIV from BBBJ is minimal. What I'm not too familiar with is Herpes. How bad is it or how bad can it be?

The real trouble it causes is in children who contract it from their mother during pregnancy/birth. I think they can die from it in that case.

It's true. Despite the fear of HIV running rampant in today's societies, it's easy to forget that there are more than a few other STD's that can cause pretty severe problems. The good news is that protecting yourself from all those others gives you blanket coverage against HIV, so if you're responsible enough to worry about other STD's, HIV isn't really an issue for you.
