New gents club in Old Town.
Hi Gents,
I have just recently arrived back in town for the season and wanted to pass along a little info. A new gents club named La Movida has just recently opened shop in Old Town. It is located on Insurgentes between Cardenas and V.Carranza.
It is located right next to the big Guadalajara Farmacia on Insugentes, it is in a small building between the the farmacia parking lot and the Libras cantina.
I had a quick look in on Sunday night, newly remodeled inside. Similar set up to Plantino's but not as nice a layout, it was quiet on Sunday evening and it did not seem to be set up for stage dancing like the other clubs? Given that it was a Sunday and the club has only been open for a week or so there were only 6 or 7 ladies available to mix with, but half of them were nice.
The ladies drinks were 120P and my beer was 30P, same as Plantino's I believe. The manager assured me there are more girls later in the evening and during the week
i gather there are private rooms upstairs for use, I did not get into to many details about pricing.
I think a club like this in Old Town is a nice addition to the entertainment offerings in the area.
I would say give it a try and show some support and we'll see if it can hang in there for awhile. For me it is in the 'hood' and we be a easy drop in on an evening walk about.
The manager says they will open 7 days a week from 8pm till 4am.

I have been in Vallarta since this past Wednesday, and things are pretty dead, and I bar hop nightly from the cantina bars to Zona Roja, to the clubs El y Ella and Conojitos.
