Okay so some background is needed here. The basic template for a 'web model' goes as follows: a young girl sets up a website that delivers her photos posing in lingerie or bikinis and etc. If she advertises herself well, her photographers are decent, and the other factors all line up, she can pull in over 80 thousand USD per year from website subscriptions. By the time she is ready for college, she drives to campus in a shiny new BMW fully bought with her own money.

Despite the facts that this is far safer than even dancing in a non-nude club 12 feet away from men, and that there is certainly no force involved whatsoever, web modeling still does not go over well in places such as the United States. The example I will cite here is Sierra from Texas, whose family was split asunder and I assume she lives in a foster home now. Sierra was not that pretty (homely). Even then the number cited by the police is "at least 80K per year". One of the Texan police who busted the operation was quoted as saying "They were basically pimping their daughter out over the internet. " Now, on some level of this man's mind, he must have known he was using a flowery metaphor. Unfortunately, being an American, with their amazing capacity for naivete, he probably wasn't conscious that he was being metaphorical.

Of course noone was being "pimped" at all. That language made it sound like they were bringing men in through the back door of the house at all hours. Nothing like that happens at all, ever. However, this is exactly how the american media spins the story in order to manufacture consent for what the police and courts are doing. The operations are not specifically illegal (as far as I know? Perchance something was snuck through congress?) Children's services acts on hints and then courts split the family into pieces citing things such as "lifestyle of the parents". In any case, the laws from 30 years ago do not fit the world with internet in it, but we would like to think that they do, so we stretch the law, lie to ourselves, and pull legal strings to end something that our christian-conservative worldview perceives as being "not so right".

So now Sierra will not be driving to college in a BMW. And I assume she must be in church service now with her fundamentalist foster parents. (Maybe she will never see college, being home-schooled in the Bible- I digress). But what have we gained? A warm, fuzzy feeling in our hearts that we saved the poor sensitive girls from. From what? Saved them from *what* exactly?

So yes, I think the stuff should be legal. In many places it is. Some models operate in sync with a dedicated fanbase. In some cases they meet on forums. Sure, there are some pervs included in small percentage. But by and large, the fanbase has what I would describe as *PARENTAL CONCERN* for the model's welfare. A person who knows the truth of this wrote the same thing in an article on wikipedia. I haven't looked lately to see if his words of truth have been taken down, although they probably have been.

for several years, there have been many dozens of these websites, with thousands of subscribers, generating sizable profits for the publishers. nothing new here, agree or disagree, its part of the internet, like it or not.

but posting for the purpose to recruit isg members into the business of **** lingerie modeling websites, should be banned.

i agree that this kind of post shouldn't be on isg. neither do i see the attraction of **** bikini modelling. perhaps wholesale moral outrage along the lines of "exploitation" might be evidence of a double standard - not sure if, say, p4p group sex with an 18-year old, which i guess is fine to write about in this forum, is inherently that much more moral than bikini modelling with a 15-year old.

it was always going to be artificial to suggest that, for example, sex (or for that matter, bikini modelling) with a girl at legal age minus one day is, on first principles, immoral while one day later the same thing is totally fine. especially as the legal age for both sex and bikini modelling might be the same, which means that bikini modelling was wrong yesterday and a gangbang is ok tomorrow.

eloquently written, slutlover. indeed, life isn't black and white, and though i'm not by nature a judgmental person (he who casts the first stone and so forth) i do take issue with attempts to conscribe fellow forum members for activities which are off-topic at best, and illegal at worst.

Non-pros are plentiful and willing, albeit on the whole slightly more conservative.

In terms of clubs, I've gone slightly off the beaten path. On weekday nights, Atlantika and Atlas seemed remarkably solid options, although you will need to speak Russian - they're not exactly upper-class expat joints.

Hey SL, I don't have nearly as much provincial experience as someone like Bez, but in general I'd agree with your assessment. The beauty of Moscow is its anonymity. You can go to the same club two nights in a row and often not run into the same people at all. Try that in some backwater provincial Russian town with only one or two popular nightclubs. And yes, girls here in Moscow are more desperate than ever...

Kaliningrad, has been on my radar for a while, and have been thinking

Of various routes to do it.

The most reasonable way to do it, for me from london, would be to catch a budget airline like Ryanair, and fly to Gdansk in poland, then it is a few hours on the bus to kgd.

But the thing is, they no longer issue Russian visas on the border to kgd, for

UK and US citizens.

This means, that accommodation in kgd has to be prebooked prior to applying for a Russian visa at their embassy in London, which is a hassle.

My question, is there another alternative to this, as I like sometimes to travel on a very short notice, to take advantage of hugely discounted airfares, which are on sale for a few days only?

How did you find the associated costs with mongering in kgd, like taxis clubs, drinks, hotels, compared to Moscow or Kiev?

These expenses have to be taken into account, when one is considering the mongering scene, in addition to the costs of P4P

KGD and Tiraspol are on my list of things to see and monger in 2010.
