On subject of ignoring mesmeros (staff).
Had room for night at HK.
Had girl I knew I wanted. And she wanted me. (OK guys just a little humor there.) But seriously we get along well as on my previous visit I had strictly talked to her. I approach her, we talk briefly, I make an offer that I know I will not budge from (60) and didn't even have to. She gave no bullshit counter or anything. She is down. No haggling, let's just enjoy was our mutual vibe.
So we are literally about to stand up and go to the room and one of the staff comes over and tries hawking the VIP room. I show him wrist band and say "No thanks, room. " he keeps trying. Very pushy. I. mean. Tries. Really. Hard. Doesn't let up. Next tries to get her involved. So I wonder do he and she work together on some commission bullshit? Her body language is like she is not digging his VIP push either, the guy (me) just offered the room.
Anyway we had to literally get up and walk away from babbling VIP dance pusher.
WTF is up with these guys? Any thoughts from you vets on what to do, other then what I did?

HK Do's and don't's for Rooks and Vets 2018
Seems like there are many different conversations and confusion about the inner workings of Hong Kong. First and most importantly HK is a Clip Joint Fridays and Saturday's. Those who have been around Tijuana and culture and I do mean Tijuana culture because it is a different and separate animal from Mexican culture already understand this about HK on the weekends. Tijuana is bastardization of American and Mexican culture do the influence and proximity to the United States. That being said there is a reliance and a natural tendency to take advantage of Gringos because Mexico is a class based system so those who have money power or influence in the country readily take advantage of the people and citizenry, the Mexican Government is a prime example of that. So being that you are a foreigner in a strange land they will try to exploit that to their advantage because that is what is being done to them on a daily basis. The majority of people who work in the Mexican service industry are seen as the low rung of society and are exploited by the Mexican elite, including the girls who work in the clubs and stand on the corners in the Zona. All the girls have is their looks to get by on so they use what they got to get what they want. Sure they may be sweet and cute but they truly do not like or respect you when you break it all down and I'm sure most of the mongers feel the same way about them. So yes the waiters, the cab drivers, the bathroom attendant will pray upon your ass at every turn just because you are American and seen as an easy mark. When dealing in the Zona show no fear if somebody is being aggressive girl waiter, cop, or whoever stand your ground and don't be a pushover. Showing weakness in this culture is a death sentence. I guarantee the more masculine you act the better your experience will be with girls and the staff. HK may have a lot going for itself because it has next to zero competition as far as it overall offerings are concerned, but it is lacking in customer service. Being shady and not pouring what you ordered is a big no no in terms of customer service. One way to combat this is by tasting what you ordered and politely but firmly tell them you want what you ordered or will not pay. Ask for the bottle to be brought to the table and poured in front of you, if he refuses get another waiter who will comply. If your goal is to drink top self all night like a boss then tipping a waiter $20.00 upfront to be your personal attendant will show them you are not messing around and are to be taken serious when it comes to your beverages / women. I guarantee they will not F-with you from that point on. The idea is to act arrogant but not rude if you do this I guarantee nobody will try to jerk you around.
As far as daytime goes yes there is a different shift of girls who work the streets and clubs. Personally I prefer daytime hours and off peak days. If night time is your only option Thursday night is probably your best bet in terms of quality and a more relaxed environment. There is never a shortage of girls in the zona. Yes the selection will not be as great as peak days but I guarantee you will find one who will tickle your fancy. The advantage of daytime is you avoiding the headaches of being taken advantage of by overzealous waiters, girls, and staff. Another advantage of daytime is the girls are a lot more relaxed and more rapport can be built. This is key because all women even working girls respond to the same shit. If you establish some basic rapport with them you will have a better experience. Compliment them on their eyes or hair, jewelry, tattoos even though you could really give a shit less trust me Mexican girls love that shit they eat it up and will reward you for the compliments for it upstairs. Never stay overnight in Cascadas or any other hotels in the Zona. Too much noise to get meaningful sleep and not very secure. If you must stay in a hotel in the zona to kill time between sessions and need to freshen up I recommend Hotel Diaz it has clean rooms and showers and a promo for 4 hours for like $250.00 Pesos it's just south of the arches in the zona. One advantage is you can sometimes get street girls who are willing to walk over with you for sessions there. IF you want a nicer hotel Caesars hotel is your best bet in terms of price, quality and location. It is chica friendly so if you need to order out for service you will not have any issues. AIRBNB is a great alternative as well in Tijuana. Never carry any more the $100.00 cash on you at one time. I urge you to pay in pesos if possible. Should be enough for at least one session for a top tiered club girl or 4 street girls. Use the ATM"s at Sorriana Market near the Dominoes pizza on Revolucion or the Caliente casino a couple blocks south they are open late and are secure never had any issues with card fraud. If you never been to the zona I suggest you walk around during the day and do your recon. It is relatively a lot more safe during the day and you will have a lay of the land once night hits and are either too buzzed or tired to try to navigate at night. Once night falls Ubers or taxis are the only safe and reliable way to leave the zona. VIP card not really worth it unless you go multiple times per week. To me the cost does not justify the additional benefits for non frequent flyers. Waiters will hate on customers because they get jealous that girls they have crushes on are fucking other dudes or the girls will flirt with them and think they are into them when they are just hustling them to gain some benefit. Girls in these clubs are ruthless due to competition among other girls. The waiters can and do fuck with the girls money if they are rebuffed or feel slighted or girls will fuck other waiters or staff to get the other girls jealous so that is the nasty reality behind all the fake asses, tits, hair, and make up. This lifestyle is not all that glamorous to work in anybody in the adult entertainment industry can attest to this. So all in all the zona is a very fun and dangerous place to be a part of. Most of this is not new to seasoned vets but just wanted to give my insights to the new guys who are just starting out. Have fun out there and be safe. Also there is a lot more Tijuana has to offer besides the zona. I urge people to venture out during the day. Plaza Rio is a great place for civie action lots of hot young girls out shopping during the day.
