None of them are working for themselves. Most are here working to supply money to someone else back home. Most want to leave as soon as possible if they can find another reliable source of income to support their burdens.
One told me recently that she would leave in a heartbeat with a boyfriend that didn't make her work.
By the same token, the girls are free to leave and take holidays or travel. Many come back afterward for the money.

When a nation is in this state, there will be high percentage of girls looking for an economic source, especially when they are in a poverty level.
As the country is in a corrupt state, good percentage are on the poverty level with disproportionate distribution of income.
Going to more well off countries, what kind of skills set can the high populous of these girls offer? Or course, those that have a credible education and skill set can find decent paying jobs as an alternative, but the others (majority) are looking for a better pay, and a lot of them are young and don't have much of a background to do anything other than simple menial work that don't pay much.
For those that do support a family, can they do that with some menial jobs? I don't think so.
