ok, i will say it... be very careful with girls at nep or sc, there are a few **** ladies in some bars now.
mp lurker pointed it out also a few days ago. you should be very very careful.

i'll never have that problem because i am not attracted at all by youngish girls, i like girls with some level of experience (27-32 is great) so a baby 19 years old will not get a second look from me.

be careful. check the id, and when you think you checked it, check again (and learn the thai years... this year is 2552 so if she's born after 2533 be careful)

No not bullshit. Normally the Coyote girl dancers are not bar-finable. I don't want to say that its impossible, but these girls would normally have to stay till closing time. After that, who knows, anything is possible in LOS.

i am in bkk right now, the quality in nana plaza is the best i have seen for years, and the clothes are coming off on the stage again now after a break of many years. the number of customers seems down, and you can still get stunners even after midnight. however it is true that there are a lot of '****' (i.e. under 18 but not under 16) girls around who will only go to the st rooms upstairs,will not go to your hotel, and haven't got id cards. actually i suspect that as often as not they are pretending not to have ids because they much prefer to go to the st rooms than to our hotel rooms. to be honest, i don't really know what the law is in thailand. i thought the age of consent was 16 (as in most of our home countries), whereas the age to work in a bar was 18. is that not right?

Agreed - this doesn't pass the smell test yet - the TransWorldNews story has absolutely no details (even when it happened) and no attribution to any source... And I can't find a trace of this story anywhere else.

Since TWN is not a news gathering operation itself - it is in the business of distributing press releases for businesses, i.e., PR - it had to get the story somewhere (i.e., someone else created it). But it doesn't say where. It is possible for members on the TWN site to submit news, so possibly someone simply put up a hoax?

be careful: what can put you in troubles on the "****" is not much the local age of consent or legal age, but what this is in your own country.
so, for sake of argument, if you bed a 19yo girl and your country law says legal age is 21, you can be prosecuted in your own country (if found out).
i think age of consent means sex between two individuals below legal age, but above age of consent.
then.. to each one his own, but i do agree with nicfrenchy. better an old gal and experienced than a young (and legally dangerous) and often unexperienced.

Following this report in the BK Post today, it will not be too long before people in government and power start to cover their backsides and so a crackdown will be called for.

i like the younger (early 20's) look so i tend to be very cautious and weary. recently spoke to two nana fl's who had no id - alarm bells for me. passed.
thankfully i stay at a hotel that keeps girls id and in additon, if i am in doubt i will get the staff to check the id for me as well. still, if there is any lingering doubt, i will generally pass for the obvious moral and legal issues.

Eh... reminds me of a funny story... a security guard at a well known hotel was showing me ID's of "girls" already taken up to the room... too bad more then a few were ladyboys. :D

Since then I'm not sure I trust any hotel staff and I made sure I tipped him well after this just in case ;)

I also know of a few stories where staff are just watching guys taking "ladies" up to their room and betting on how much longer until the "lady" and / or guy come storming back down stairs :D :D

Gold membership is the way to go if you want to get girls to take you seriously and get them to bed sooner than later. I had pretty young girls coming to Bangkok to see me from Issan by bus to spend few days with me to get to know me better and I had sex in the first night with no question asked and no money exchanged. Last I heard Bumrungrad still had their 24 hour a day testing facilities for both antibody and antigen testing. Don't know if that is still true but if you are worried and got nothing to do at 4 am there you go, now you got something to do.

I should note that I get most of my testing done at St. Lukes in Manila as my ex step mother in law works there (ex father in law is a bigger wh@re then me) and I walk in and walk out in 5 minutes and have the reports emailed to me and updates my work, my ex wife and some of my GF's at the same time. :D I'm such a lazy bastard....[/QUOTE]

I got hit with a major flu virus a few years back, and ended up at Bumrungrad. Only in Thailand, do I get a cute nurse and cuter doctor. I was surprised to see a female doctor. It only cost about a US$100, including the meds, so the small bill was also a pleasant surprise. All of my traveling has given me a pretty good immunity to most stuff, and that was a first for me in many many years. Thank god for Bumrungrad. They still send me e-mails periodically! LOL!

Unless something has changed dramatically in the last year, I would just suggest he hit NEP and Soi Cowboy. It really does not take very long to stick your head in the bars and see what's available. The players change all the time, and everynight is a different experience, depending on what time you start trolling. I would make sure he knows which bars are ladyboy bars, so he does not have any bad experiences! ;)
