Mr. Hawaii, the Philippines forum is the home of old curmudgeons like Statler and Waldorf. Be prepared for some heckling after every post.
Or be prepared to be ignored if you have not actually set foot in the country in who's sex guide you comment on.
Baaadaaaaboom! Yah CM recently commented on the sad quality of guys that can be found in the Immigration line at NAIA. Only one small problem, he has never been in that line in his life which is infinitely more pathetic.
CM in the unlikely event you can piece together some of those broken sections from the flotsam wreckage of the Western male psyche and make a raft and paddle it to the shores of the Philippines, I will gladly buy you a SML. But I won't hold my breath waiting, because while some us might be sad we all turn into Brad Pitt once we exit Immigration.
Ocassional visitors to Philippines will not understand why Smart phones will cut out in certain malls whilst Globe never does. Answer is simple, Ayala owns certain malls, and guess what, they don't allow any Smart signal boosting towers in or on their malls. Why would they help their competitor. So if one day your in a mall and your signal dies, figure its the kindly Ayala family going about its work.
Very good point. The Ayala family owns 32% of Globe Telecom.

CM used to be halfway interesting once but his posts are like a stuck record these days, emanating sour envy from every embittered keystroke.

Cell phone
Leave your "good" cell phone home is USA (or whatever country). When you land in Manila, don't buy a phone at the airport. Go to your hotel, then go to the nearest mall and buy one there. Mid priced Nokia with Smart card has always worked well for me. Yes, you can call back to the USA (or other country) with no problem. Take the time to have your friendly phone saleswoman show you the features and how to call the USA. If she does a good job, offer lunch / dinner. Make this your "Philippines phone", and take it home with you. If you don't use the SIM for 60 or 90 days the card will expire, but so what. Just buy another when you return.
Thanks! Mr. Hawaii. Exactly what I was looking for.
One thing I've learned after four trips to the Philippines is, never take the place seriously. This is adult Disneyland. You come, you pillage and you leave with good memories. No disrespect to expats, but the thought of me spending more than two weeks in the Philippines is unfathomable. I truly feel sorry for Filipinos who must live their entires lives in a shit-filled, hopeless, corrupt country.
You arrive with your mind already made up. You need more experience getting to the bottom of your own feelings and to deconstruct them so as to ingratiate yourself into another culture.
Aside from the sex and girls, one benefit of traveling there is that it makes me grateful for what I have in America, to be with friends, family and coworkers who aren't trying mooch off me or feign kindness for ulterior motive. It makes me appreciate technology and civilization. It even makes me appreciate my dead-end job. The women in my life in America may not be as pretty or fawn all over me, but I know if they like me, it's likely genuine and I can have a real emotional and intellectual connection with her. It's not just her tits and vagina.
You need to more closely examine motivation. Americans, Pinays, all want the same thing. You may be acclimatized and therefore more accepting of the methods by which American women acquire their needs. An Asian girl wants the same thing but her method might seem crass to a westerner as your method might seem the same to her. You are an American by your experience, upbringing and bearing, but you can move beyond that and become an enlightened world traveler.
Let's be honest here. Many guys go to the Philippines for love and sex because they have problems at home. Perhaps they lack social skills, they're workaholics, don't have a life, have no real friends, estranged from family, etc. They look to the Philippines as a substitute for their drab reality. The truth is, no matter how bad your life is at home, it will likely be worse in the Philippines. The country is crap. India may be poorer (at least for now) , but I don't sense Indians being shady, corrupt, conniving, lazy or moochers. So enjoy the Philippines while you're there but don't go there to run away from your problems. Confront your problems instead.
Reminds me of the immigration to the New World from Europe. The New World didn't attract Dukes and Princes and welladjusted people. Only the oddballs and marginals who were not happy at home would get on a boat to go to Ellis Island sight unseen. But being in the PI is the closest that I have ever been to being famous. Everybody wants to be my friend. Think how life must be for the Brad Pitts and Tom Cruises of the world who are in fact famous in every street and restaurant in the USA and the world. By the way, I the find the shucking and jiving in New York and in some quarters in San Francisco far more sinister than in Manila.
Try bumming around Saigon or Laos for a couple of weeks. It will give you a different perspective. They are both good places to get to know.
Or be prepared to be ignored if your over 50, a daft dresser harboring a receding hairline but claims to get "feebies" from young Filipinas and fucks like a 20 year old John Holmes with a defunct prostate.
And I can vouch for Freebie, he is and he does (shame I can't do smileys as would have loads here)
FP does your handle signify anything about the way you treat the ladies?
Men who don't have a problem pulling women in the west are not trolling developing countries looking for cheap sex .
So what are you doing here then FP?

?
Welcome back after a long absence Sir.
Hopefully you can bring some of your normal with and humour on a board that has recently seen an uptick of pond scum. Oh sorry Screaming Twat, I didn't mean to malign you. Or your inbred cousin in arms.
Hopefully you will be up to your usual antics in no time! Your posts are well remembered. (sorry Screamer, none of yours come to mind mate!)

since wicked rodger can vouch for freebie maybe he can tell us if freebie looks as good as he claims with a dog collar fastened tightly around his adam's apple. we know he carries around a bag of sexual prosthetics ever since that botched prostate surgery left him as limp as a wet dish cloth. wild thing 69 exposed freebie as a fraud on the taipei thread but i'm sure wicked rodger's stories about freebie on a leash with his sex aids are quite entertaining although jackson might not allow that kind of perversion on his forum.

Roger, Roger.

You guys really crack me up. I wouldn't wish prostate cancer on either you or your sad little side kick. But I'm sorry to advise you that my operation 8 years was a total success.
I also want to advise you that I have absolutely no problem in getting hard.
Mildthing69 was a just another sad little fellow (kind of like you jokers) who wanted to get access to my former freebies (nothing like letting someone else do the work, right) and was a tad upset when I suggested I really couldn't be arsed giving handouts.
Now be a sweet little Chocha and go play near an intersection.
But of course it wouldn't be an Ayala / Makati ave type interesection would it. Because you don't really know where that is.
Oh listen. Its your brave little sidekick telling all and sundry you get plenty LOL.
Its great that you are funny, as otherwise you would be worthless. Braneur!
