Ok. For all why'all wondering how tough the interview background is.
I did some things right after high school, mid 80s. Stuff well beyond the stack of traffic infractions I built up. I didn't lose my right to vote, it wasnt THAT bad, but I could have gone bad, but did not. Straight and clean. Building to a professional career, including a part time contract pilot job.
I showed up for my interview in a city other than where I lived, because I would be there for a customer flight a few days, and figured why not do it there, right away once I was conditionally approved.
Took my prints, and asked me "about my past". I listed it all out. Well, I forgot about one small detail, that was still important. It was a secondary charge around the one big thing I did list and verbally mention. That's when it got weird.
The printer in that location. Died. Literally. Died. I saw it go all Lucas smokey.
The officer told me I had to contact the state and counties of all these things, get a record of the final court action (s) and end results, and I had 3 weeks to get that back to him.
OMG. WTF, really? He's LOOKING at this stuff on the screen from the FBI, and I got to gather this crap up?
The source state and the counties I could remember were useless over the phone. I resolved that I would have to let this one go for now.
RIGHT at about the end of the 3week point, I get the Email to check the status of my GOES account, and hey. I was approved. Card is in the mail. *blink* Ok.
I'm guessing that someone in charge went thru the stack of things not complete, and put it together that they.had- the data, and that the officer sent me on mission impossible to gather it on paper myself because he could not.at that time. And then just did it himself, and approved it. I did nothing.
Yay! So. I won't go into details. Nobody died, nobody was hurt, but if after just short of 30yrs of being nothing more than a contributor to the Policeman's Ball, you should pass the interview and BG check no problems. Even if you space out and forget that. 1- minor important charge under the larger one. And dude has to ask you 3 times "are you sure". And you say "Yes, I'm sure. I'm not proud of what I did, but I fessed up, did my probation. And I've been thru this with the NRC and the FAA. What did I miss?". And the he reminds you."You forgot this thing. But that was just something attached to the real problem. Remember?" "Oh ya. Crap. I'm sorry, yes, that is correct, I did do that too, it was related to the larger charge, I'm sorry."
Not wanting here to brag about being a stupid shit 18yr old, but. If might help rest the souls of those considering GE / Sentri / Nexus about the interview and BG check process.
Most security is just seeing what you say, and what you do, and if you can be unabashedly honest about the crazy ass kid you used to be.
And I leave for Socal Wednesday AM the 8th.
Odds are low that an approval on 1/3 will be in my mailbox tomorrow. 1/7.
Am I going to catch total hell for "forgetting" that I forgot my card at home if I belly up to the Sentri lane at customs? Or can I reasonably play an "Oh crap. Guys. I screwed up. I was approved but I left my card at home. I JUST got it, can you help somehow?"
I will of course be well dressed, have my passport, my GE / Sentri I'd. Etc.

The point of having SENTRI is to walk to the head of the ridiculous line at the border and go through the gate marked SENTRI. The guard will insist he see your card. When you can't produce it you'll be sent back to the end of the line.
Once inside, the lines are now automated. You step up to the kiosk and put your card on the scanner. If you have no card, you'll be hard pressed to do that.
If you don't have it, cross late at night and just use your passport. Or, if you have an Enhanced Drivers License or a Passport Card you can use the Ready Lane and shave some time that way.

I know I don't want to stay at Cascadas this trip for a few nights. Ticuan jaccuzi room is nice, but pricey. But that appears to be only good solid option. Running hot water will be nice.

The guard made me remove the card and check it before being allowed past. The second time, I thought I was prepared and had the card out but was holding backwards so the guard saw it, stopped me, and checked that my face actually matched the photo. Now I check that it is face side out and completely visible as I walk through.

You run the risk of having your membership revoked and applying again. Happened to me when I drove up to the Sentri checkpoint. I didn't have my Sentri card and I was sent to secondary. After that I had to re-apply for Sentri and told me if I ever did that again. I would be banned from the program.
For those who drive their cars into Mexico.
When I got my SENTRI they inspected my car immediately after my interview, then put a sticker in the window. I understand they no longer do the sticker thing and that you apply on-line for permission to take your car through the SENTRI lane.
I applied for another car about 2 months ago, and still nothing. I check from time to time and it still says "Pending" on the web site. Has anybody else done this? How long does this take?
Lastly, what does everybody do for car insurance if you take your car to MX regularly?
I've had SENTRI for several years. I had to renew last year and I was also surprised at how long it took them to respond. If I remember correctly it was about 3 months before I moved past the "pending" status on their website. I got a sticker in the window as of last April. Because I drove into Mexicali weekly, I purchased an annual car insurance policy. The cost varies depending on the value of your car. My annual fee was just under $400 with MexUs of Calexico.

So the other night I receive a text from my MBGF in Tijuana. She is talking about missing me and wanting my penis in her mouth etc. Etc. And then within minutes I receive a message from my wife " DON'T FORGET TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH!".
I guess its a no brainer why I love Tijuana.

Sometimes I wonder if the wife knows about our mongering activities. Women are smart to understand when their partners sleep around. I would like to know how people still get away with it and continue to monger. In american society, these women don't realize how much you care and give them the security, the moment you sleep around or even flirt around becomes the whole reason for divorce. I wonder how people are still married and continue to monger. If there is any trick or a way to be still mongering around and continue to live happy with a wife, I would like to know. This has prevented me from getting married. I think my life will be more complete when I monger but still be with my wife and continue to provide her care and security. When does the society realize the fact that I am a man and my body wants sex with many girls and it has nothing to do with my love or affection towards my wife. I have tried to change and just be with one girl but my body rejects it.
This actually becomes a very philosophical question and raises many debates. As much as I feel guilty about mongering (because of the way society has raised us) , I question its very reason for the guilt. I am at a stage of life where I have to choose between mongering or having a family with wife and kids. This unfortunately has created a lot of stress, anxiety and I have been unable to come to a rationalized conclusion.
Nothing is more demeaning that being treated with utmost disrespect in your own house.
I request forum members should share their views on this topic. It will help me and certainly few others along this life journey.
Thanks.

For those who have their SENTRI stickers, you can remove them if you wish. Because of cartels targeting cars as mules by magnetizing their stash underneath them. I decided to remove mine.
