And Sir Charles I know you are well educated, and a historian so your opinion will be interesting regarding this topic. But after you watch the DR episode, please watch the Cuba episode, that's the one I liked best. And Savepros was that Cubana historian with the glasses that the Professor interviewed fine or what. Sir Charles give me your evaluation in the Gogo forum so that the "New Sosua' newbies don't get mad.

I'm a paleface who always admired (and lusted after) black women, but my backgound was such that I never encountered them up close in my early life. (Oh Lordy, I'm going to die without ever fucking Gladys Knight) Later spent a lot of time in the Bahamas where I finally got to get it on.

But there was never a real connection. I met a Georgetown girl and we hung around for a few days, but she never took me seriously. I have a Jamaican Canadian female friend up here and we spent hours over drinks discussing this. She basically told me that a real black girl could never take me seriously because I could never really relate to the "black experience" which pissed me off because it sounded like reverse racism. She was telling me that she can move in both worlds, but I will always be restricted to one. Fuck that!

But she was right. Both she and my really good friend (another Jamaican Canadian guy. We are like family) tend to compartmentalise our friendship. They have their black friends, then they have me. Most of their friends are OK but basically just tolerate me. There's no real connection there. She did tell me though after seeing pics and hearing my Sosua story that she thought my chica was not just in it for the money alone, and encouraged me.

Which brings me back on topic.

When I first met my DR chica she seemed to spend a lot of time showing me pics of her family and almost bragging about some who had lighter skin. She is chocolate and said she was just a throw back. She missed the point. Her blackness was what turned me on in the first place. When I first met her family, they treated me as "special" read gringo.

Now after 2 1/2 years its perfect. They treat me like family and I pitch in with the chores and the kids like the rest of them. They tell my buddy when he's there that I'm "no gringo. He's dominican" which is the highest compliment. My chica and I share a level of intimacy, thoughts and dreams and mutual respect that has lasted longer than anything I had before.

Maybe dominican is not "real" black, but I've finally crossed over and truly connected. I feel I'm a lucky guy!

I am trying to contact one of my "regulars" in Sosua to get more info but I have been told a gringo took a bullet in the leg while partying in El Flow as a gunfight broke out. I was also told their was some kind of "raid" at La Passion by the cops looking for drugs. Anybody with any knowledge of either event please post.

I'm talking that the majority I have run into are very superficial and have a "see, want, envious" attitude. These are women from estrato 1 to 6, Maybe the higher estrato girl knows how to hide their feelings better but you better believe its there.

As far as the Colombiana in the US? At least the chicas I know in NYC are absolutely the WORST ones because they already got their "golden ticket" out of the country and don't need shit from you. They can concentrate on being bandidas and superficial. Of course I'm not talking about the older generation Colombiana that has lived in the states for years. They have learned to become humble. Believe me I avoid the Colombianas in Queens, When you are scared to get a rotten apple, don't pick one off the floor (NYC) pick a fresh one off the tree (In an estrato 3 barrior in Colombia)

Never been out of the country and never been on a plane. This could shape up as the beginning of the end, or even the end of the beginning. We'll see!

ok, now all this columbia talk has peeked my interest. i was all set for an early december return to sosua, but i may change my plans.

what part is "better" to visit?

is it possible to see two cities in one week?

is a gfe possible?

i know this is not the board for columbia questions, but i trust the.

opinion of a few of you.

But yeah, all the stuff I tell you here is real and I got pics to prove it. I have a hard time believing all this crazy shit myself sometimes. Maybe if this board was called something like "Nice people I have met in DR" I would post pics, but "International Sex Guide" (for unrepentant mongers)?

I really don't want to be I'd'd, and I don't want my chica and her family's pics posted here because they have a lot of connections in Sosua. It's a small world and everybody is online down there. Maybe I'm paranoid, but things are working out fine just as they are.

But if I was ever called out, I would PM pics to you or SavePro, or Coolie, cause I feel you guys are cool. Might do that anyway if anyone is interested.

And yeah, she'll be coming up in July, but I'm in Canada, not the States, and she'll be here just for a look see, not to move in LOL.

Big thanks to you guys for providing the "road map to happiness" for newbies like me. If they follow your advice they'll do just fine down there.

sure the sosua forum sometimes suffers from attention deficit disorder (add) but we try to limit it as much as possible.

[/quote]well, i've only done mde so i can only speak to that. there is a lot of talent and its a soft landing as far as colombia is concerned. i know guys that go there just to hang out and party and not monger, but score with regular babes so gfe is possible, depending on your skills and game with putas and non-putas. there is more talent that you can handle.

i've never been to cali but i bumped into a friend yesterday that travels a lot and just got back from thailand 2 weeks ago. he is getting ready to go back to cali and calls it his second home. this guy is dark like wesley snipes and he did mention that he prefers cali because of the ability to fit in better. he also told me he wrote sosua off because its been run over by nyc and atlanta guys overpaying (i think he left out dc, lol).

i've gotten good feedback on cartagena as well. it has a beach and i think is more pricey than mde because its more of a tourist destination. i think you should check out all of these places, if you can. the 120 chicas in sosua aren't going anywhere, lol. they will be there when you decide to return. don't get me wrong, i love sosua also.

check the colombia forums on here, but also keep in mind that people have different tastes so you may want to do some outside research as well. good luck!

Probably won't be missed by any regulars here, but the welcome hugs and dances from the half dozen or so amigas was always part of my first night check in routine.

Part of the Old Sosua scene and one of the few places I was as welcome behind the bar as in front.

A great hang out for the "Change man" Sergio,"Viagara man", and a host of others who could get you just about anything you needed.

But, I suppose having the staff dancing on the bar, and letting customers pour their own drinks is no way to run a business LOL

By far my favourite bar in Sosua. But the writing was on the wall last February when I was last there. Business was really slow. I hope the girls find other employment fairly quickly.
