Updating my previous. Before ordering I put down 3 20's before ordering at the same bar. Bar manager said they checked my bills at the bank from the night before and determined that my dollars were good. No need to check in future.

Off to BKK tomorrow, not anticipating the same problem. Ha ha ha.

It's right there on street 136 where the action lies. Decent price, good facilities, no issued with bringing guests plus the rooftop pool is nice. There is another Sun & Moon so be careful when booking. Heard that Lux riverside is also great, also right there in the middle of action, maybe will try next time.

Was told on another board that 5 pm is "hooker rush hour" and he knows someone who pulls freelancers from Gastro all the time.

Went there on a Friday at 5 pm and there were the usual veteran girls across the street and next door on 130.

But in Gastro, a sausage fest plus 1 or 2 couples. No freelance part time grey semi-pros.

Hi folks, The last time I visited Phnom Penh was pre-covid. I recall there was a French bakery in the main drag, that I enjoyed visiting in the morning.

They had French news papers and French coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of that place.

Anybody knows of similar places? Thanks a lot.

Great spot.

Pulled a sweet little spinner from Alaska Bar last night, for the first night. She was awesome.

Anyone know of an inexpensive breakfast in this area? Spoiled by Pattaya's $3 breakfasts all over town.

Also: got some friends down on Street 78 in an AirBnB. Any good action down that way?

Chinatown central but OK for me.

I get a cheap tuktuk up to the bars on Riverside (Street 136 etc) but there are a few massage places close by St 78 (Bassac Lane especially).

Your friends might like to try Nagaworld just a short walk away. Darlin' Darlin' nightclub has worked for me in the past if you don't let the women rip you off.

Quick report on my first night back after 2 weeks in Bangkok (since nobody else has posted here lately and maybe something is better than nothing).

I hit only 3 bars last night. Pussy Cat, 69, and Xanadu. ALL had a lot of mutual gropping between some customers and some hostesses. Personally had my dick massaged in each joint while grabbing some bare titty.

All three bars had a spectrum of chicks, but I didn't see any elephant-sized damsels.

Lowest price draft was $1. 75 and lowest was $3. 50 for a lady drink. Most lady drinks run $5.

Didn't ask barfine price, but I suspect it was $15 for a weekend night.

Did a "drive by" of Amazing and Wow bars and confirm another posters dismal report. Neither Amazing nor worthy of a Wow. Disappointing line up outside with loads of thirsty girls who are not ready for prime time.

Looking over Google reviews of massage parlors in Phnom Penh, it appears that just about every one of them is a ripoff operation where someone gets into your pockets during the massage and replaces your cash with counterfeit money. Is there any truth to that, or am I just seeing a bunch of review-bombing?

I plan on staying in the general area of Street 136. My preference is for massages rather than taking a girl from a bar, but it doesn't look promising from afar.

You can find a place you like, get a price, then go back to your room and bring just enough cash for the massage.

Or carry 50 in small bills and not g. a. s. what happens to them.
