Nana Banana the Thai restaurant on Lockhart Road which closed last month, is re-opening as the Bunny Club. Another Go-Go Bar in Wanchai.

Ladies only come from the Phillipines and Thailand, because countries like Indonesia / Malaysia won't allow visa because they are Muslim countries.

However, they are always DH's in NM during the week, or at least they will tell you they are DH's to "save face".

Chantik will know better than I but that's my experience.

I have seen many girls turning around and leaving. If NM continues with this policy they will be out of business sooner or later! Does anyone know where? Maybe Chantik can throw some light on the matter. The knock on effect is that punters like you and I will not be going there either. A lot of business lost.

I agree if they continue with that policy, they are heading for closure.

I needed your guys advice as I am going to HK next week.

How much would you pay for a HK girl for 3-4 hours? I think I il go for a HK girl rather than Indonesian or Cambodian, but not sure it will be expensive or not.

1) The Bars have always charged most D / H's $50 for entrance. This often changed when you were a regular. It doesn't stop the ladies entering when you consider the DH's often get free drink cards or pay $20 for a drink. And bars to this day still charge some D / H. Nothing to read here.

2). And the entrance fee in the evenings at Makati for working ladies, is $50 for a regular lady and $100 for a non regular girl. But of course if you grab a guy from a street you get free entry. And don't forget the regular ladies at makati get free drinks all night. And the ladies are entering the bars to make money. Yes, there is pressure from LE, but $50 or $100 doesn't break the bank. And we are only talking about Makati and sometimes, Escape. You can get into Joe Bananas, Neptune 3 and Amazonia without ladies paying entrance. And of course no ladies can get into HK Cafe, although this will probably change in a month or two.

It goes against the model of ladies' night at many other regular bars. I guess it puts aside any pretence with the ladies as to what the bar expects from them. In the past, I have met several ladies who were told to be there between certain hours as per their handlers' arrangement with the bar. Some bars also have the bag fee scam.

Since I am usually a meal ticket anyway, I have no qualms in escorting ladies waiting outside into a bar and then ducking out. No skin off my back and my way of saying I do not like a certain policy.

I know many do not agree with me on the velvet curtain places but I still think it is a good way to get a quick one if you are in a nearby hotel. Taxi over, pick what you want after getting a good look in the street light, go inside to check out the package, negotiate, exit, and taxi back to the hotel. No problems with undercover LEO and you know what you ordered for take out and what is on the menu. The girls will come out dressed in street cloth and not disco dresses.
