It has been a while since I posted a report. I have been in and out of SL and pretty much lost all of my contacts due to a phone issue.

Plus, all what I have been reading hasn't given my any encouragement to venture new experiences.

On to the report, I have been noticing a Ayurvedic Treatments board at Horton Place and out of curiosity wanted to try it some time ago. However, didn't get a chance and last Saturday I was bored and in need of a decent massage. Called my usual S* H* and inquired about D*lr*I but heard she is no longer there. (Do any of you kind souls know where she might be working now?) and that all others are busy. I was in the vicinity of Horton Place and decided to have a a go. Its an old post-colonial type bungalow in pretty bad condition. There were no cars parked, so decided to risk it. Walked in, at the entrance there is a dimly lit table and the Doc was there. He had some medical apparatuses like a pressure monitor, stethoscope etc. I inquired about their treatments and he said before any treatment he must checkup. After a quick blood pressure check, cough here cough there test he determined I need a 1 hour Ayurveda treatment hehe. Asked me to go into a room, which had no door but just a curtain. Then only I saw how badly maintained this place is. The roof is just about to fall in, poorly hung lights, damp floors. The bathroom is a joke. Its a small hut like thing inside the house and damn me if I was going to wash in there. I went to the room anyways and in walked a nurse with a towel and a small black color napkin. A thin but pleasant looking girl, maybe in mid / early twenties. She asked if I need a shower and I said I had one at home and I will not wash in their one. She smiled, asked to change and walked off. The room is also very small, just a bit bigger than the massage table. It had an old towel rack and a chair. I changed into the towel and hopped on the bed. I must mention that the bed was clean and new and had a Dettol smell to it. She came in with oil and vitamin E cream, I opted for the cream. And then she politely asked if I was wearing any undies. I said no and she handed me that black color rolled up thing. Damn, it was those disposable shit that I had read about here. do a google for the sri lanka tourist board website. look under the where to stay tab for listing of hotels. juliana, a room is lkr 5000 and though there are cheaper guest houses all over colombo and suburbs, you may not have the same level of security. the normal guest house room for a night is about lkr 2500, thats sri lankan rupees. if you like, i can give you the contacts for a few very reliable guest houses but note that these are not girl friendly. pm me if you like.

Now you are talking about coming from wellawatte side passing williamsn then the methodist church etc then you say take the first turn. & proceed towards wellawatte. Which is the same way you come from :S do you mean one of the roads leading down towards the sea side? (like albert place, campbel place etc)
