P.S. one of your reports you mentioned an ethiopian district. Did yoou mean baraha, or is it a neighborhood in bur dubai, or just a place with ethiopian clubs and cafes?
Mad dash across Dubai's night life
Scouting mission and other activities, middle of May 2010 (sorry guys, couldn't post it earlier):
GF hotels: Metropolitan Hotel Deira, Panorama Hotel (charge an extra 100 Dh for lady I was told by front desk), Pearl Continental Creek hotel, Deira, near Clock tower like the MHD.
Monday night:
Setting off into the night around 9pm, wandered about in Deira around Al Rigga Station. Seen a few WGs street walking but none of interest. Checked out Broadway hotel, had to pay 50 DH admission. Very arabic style. Smallish bar with tables arranged to one side and a small space with a short bar to the other side. No dancing. Girls, Russian/middle eastern looking were ok but wasn't my thing. This arabic style sitting around with or without girls and some girls huddling around the bar area is not my cup of tea and the ladies didn't really interest me. So, I left after a while. On my way out, along the same street popped into Orchid Hotel but venues were boring. Don't bother with any places that read Indian or Pakistani style night club. It's dudes sitting on tables and staring at some indian etc. Chicks dancing and singing. The idea is to drink and eat and, umm, watch them. That's it.
Metropolitan Deira Hotel (also near Clock Tower): Irish pub, ground floor: some phili or thai wGs but as such empty. Left immediately.
Ramee Guestline Hotel next to Al-Rigga Station at Al-Rigga street: has bunch of clubs, checked them all out but no real action going on. Must be because of Monday. Left quickly.
Hyatt Regency hotel (Deira), Premiere bar where I got around 11:30pm, 150 entry fee, argh: big bar with dance floor in the middle. Very beautiful women, chatted to Ethiopian, Aserbaidshan couple of girls of which one was new but didn't like Dubai much, got bored with them, moved on. Past Midnight the place was very busy. Got chatted up by two lovely girls from Ukraine but found them a bit too skinny but "interviewed" them. They promised a lesben show and to make me very happy. Well, ok. Anyway, moved on, chatted to small cute and very busty girl from Shanghai with that typical business/icy Chinese attitude. Moved on. Got the hang of just cruising around; just looking at the girls was already a treat. So much eye candy in one place! Premiere really is a "united nations" place. Ended up on a table with three busty Ethiopian ladies, bought them drinks and food. First was a bit awkward, no real chatting. Eventually they opened up a bit but I knew this would be going nowhere so, after a while in their company I left. No girl that night, at least a good night sleep ahead, but I was happy nevertheless.
Tuesday night:
Set off around 9pm. Started at Moscow Hotel, Deira. This place is through and through Russian. Guests, hotel and bar staff including the bar staff understanding that ordering a vodka means a bottle of it. Yeah right, methink that I wanted to get laid not 'shitfaced'. Anyway, sat down for a little while at the bar, ground floor, with my glass of vodka. Some Russian WGs sitting around the tables with or without male company. Some quite nice. If you are into CIS girls, the Moscow hotel is one place to check out. The club, Red Square, wasn't open at that time of the day (starts 10pm).
Next was Kubu bar at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek: 'landed' there around 9:45pm. Kubu is a lounge type bar, nice ambient music. I liked the bar as such. However, slow night, some girls. Chatted to an Iranian lady but wasn't that hot. Spotted two Ethiopians and got smiled at by, what I thought, to be a tall Chinese girl. Fairly pretty. Didn't have the patience to hang around there and left. On my way out passed by a cute girl who looked Lebanese but left anyway.
Left for Bur Dubai, first stop around 10: 30pm was Astoria Hotel, night club above TGIT (TGIT. Thanks god it's Friday): got waved through without having to pay admission, nice. Not busy but not empty either. Got chatted up by an old Thai. Didn't speak much English. Tried to interview her but it just didn't work. Got bored with her. Looked around: mixed crowd of orientals, some middle eastern looking girls and very vew Ethiopians. Not impressed and left for the next stop.
11pm or so at Palm Beach hotel, Khalid Bin Waleed Road (aka Computer Road) and not far from the Sea Shell hotel and Royal Ascot Hotel. Definitely an african joint. Spotted some ethiopians and chatted to a ghanian girl. Bar was still empty at that time. Bar staff told me it will get busy well past midnight. Ok, took note and left for the 'triangle of fun'.
11:30pm entered at the Panorama Hotel on Al Mankhool Road, the famous Jockeys bar: 40 Dh. Packed. Africans, PRC/thai but also CIS. Got chatted up by an old ghanian. In fact quite a few africans, mostly from Ghana it seems. Was ok, but I moved on anyway.
Across from Panorama was the Ramada Dubai, Rumours: found out it was closed for renovation. They had another bar but no action. Left for the Regal Plaza Hotel.
Regal Plaza Hotel (opposite York Hotel on huge Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road intersection): Rockafellas nightclub, paid 75: big venue with dance floor in the middle. CIS girls, chatted to one from Moscow, from Tadshikistan and one from Usbekistan but actually wanted to find the indian/pakistani corner. Wandered around a lot but didn't seem to have any around that night from the Indian subcontinent. Couldn't be asked to keep asking where the girls were from and left. Mission to find above mentioned failed. Well, ok. Off to York then.
York Hotel: dunno why folks sometimes diss this place. It's full of ladies, some very pretty/busty. Mainly thai/Chinese and lots of Ethiopians but also others, e. G. Chatted to a Kenyian girl. IMHO the Ethiopians there are very pretty. Wandered around a lot and eventually ended up with two small Ethiopian cuties. Took both of them with me, 600 DH each for the night. Back in hotel, we all crammed into the shower cubicle. I told them to wash me nicely. Quite funny. Then to bed, got one sitting on my face for some DATY the other taking care of my 'little tom', reverse Cow girl. After that session I had enough and we snuggled into bed to sleep. I was happy.
Wednesday. Hectic field exploration:
Inspired by previous reports I set out for the night at 6pm to check out TGIT and Jockeys. First I headed for TGIT.
TGIT, Astoria Hotel, just past 6pm: indeed, some WGs there in an otherwise very quiet place. Chinese and some africans. Got accosted by a busty Chinese with a husky voice, good English. Chatted to her for a while. She works in Dubai running shops or something and this was an extra income for her plans once she goes back. Determined business woman. I thought to try out ST. She had place nearby and wanted to do everything I want. Well, ok. Agreed on DH 200 and if she really knocks me off my feet as promised there'd be 500 on the table. Short taxi ride to a knocking shop. Chinese dude opens flat, we get into her room. I was laughing. Typical bonking joint: a barren room with bed and a slightly dirty/stained matrace, testimony to previous 'activities'. Oh, well, as expected, never mind I thought. So, down to business. She did a bit massage, then went down to ball licking, sucking and BBBJ. Not bad but not mind blowing either. Tried 69. She was well into DATY, tasted nice. After 2h of fun I told her to call it a day. Performance was ok but not mind blowing, hence, above payment. She was pissed off but such is life. Off to Jockeys for me.
8:30, Jockeys, Panorama hotel, 40 DH: already fairly busy but not yet packed. Light not yet dimmed and music not turned up, I. E. Before the party began so to speak. Just wanted to check out the scene: Chinese/thais, CIS. Got accosted by an ugly Chinese; same bla bla that she would make me very happy. Yeah right. Told her upfront that it'll never work out. As expected she hung around; the word 'No' doesn't work. Anyway, she sat down next to me and didn't bother me much so I could scan the place without getting hassled by somebody else. Spotted one CIS cutie but was already occupied. Fair enough. Moved on, next stop: Karama Hotel behind Karama shopping area.
9:30pm, Karama Hotel, Ratsky: either was still too early or place is not so popular. Popped inside but little action, was told band would start at 10pm. By what I could tell it was a phili joint. Not interested anyway, just collecting intel on the ground. There are other bars/pubs in there. Popped into each of them. Same. Little action at that time. Ok, left for the Music Room.
10pm ish, Majestic Hotel, Music Room: rockband playing. Some touristy folks, very few oriental WGs. Not my thing I thought. If you are into rock and stuff then this is your place. Maybe going there later or on a different day is better. Dunno. Had a drink, then left.
11pm, Hyatt Regency, Premiere, 150 DH: not as busy as on Monday. Dunno why. Pretty gals (see above). Was hoping to meet a hot ethiopian but wasn't the best day for that. Clientele was a bit rubbish too. Watched in amusement how gruffy looking/unshaved/worn out/fat indian/pakistani/arab looking men were brushed off by the ladies. Place started to fill up closer to midnight (unfortunately mainly with men). Off to Kubu bar then.
Midnight, Kubu bar: packed to the hilt. Did one round. Nicer clientele, lots of western expats, some arabs, ladies mixed but more CIS/Euopean and middle eastern looking girls and not many orientals. The cuties were taken, the rest was of no interest to me. Moved on.
12:30am, Fairmont Hotel, Cin Cin/Cigar bar: spacious bar, nice ambiente. CIS, some orientals but not much going on really. Just did one round to check out the place, then left.
12:50am: Rattlesnake, Metropolitan Hotel, Sheikh Zaid Road (spelling?): packed, band playing, the front singer was a real cutie (thai). Nice thing about Rattlesnake is that the hotel has a large outside seating / caffee area. They also had a big screen setup for watching football. Some folks outside watching football, drinking, chatting. Inside the club a mixed crowd of CIS other Europeans but also some middle eastern looking gals. No africans. Clientele mainly western tourists/expats. Ok, have seen it now. Left after a few minutes. Just too packed for my taste. On my way out spotted a tan dark haired cutie (perhaps middle eastern?) who could have stopped me leaving. As I wander past her body language tells me No. Ok then, time to leave.
1:15 York Hotel (yes, taxi drove quite fast): A bit late but still ok as the place is open until 3am. Lots of Ethiopians and orientals (PRC, thais; nice shapes). Too many choices. Wandered around scanning. Undecided, talked to a few Ethio ladies. Settled for one, spent some time talking. Somehow, something wasn't right but couldn't pin down what, just a gut feeling. Decided to wander off and got chatted up by another Ethio cutie. Quite classy features, nice body too. Talked a bit too her, her English was not so good. A bit shy perhaps too. Got confusing messages. Wasn't sure, also because it was so late and the place started to slowly empty as it drew to 2am. Anyway, agreed on DH 600 LT (was ok with me, didn't want to spoil it by hard nosed negotiation). Suggested to go to Radisson Blue Deira Creek hotel because they have a 24h coffee shop, nice seating area. Ordered food at about 2:30am. Talked more. She became more comfortable, giggled a bit. Had chicken and omelette. I must say it was excellent quality. I'll remember that place for late night snacks (however, its pricey of course being in a 5 star hotel). Back to my hotel, just went to bed, talked a little, some cuddling, eventually she got comfortable, slept. Wasn't in the mood for action at that point and because I had been 'emptied' earlier. Was fine with me. Sweet dreams at about 4am or so after a mad dash across Dubai's night life
