I am planning a 4 day trip.[/QUOTE]I was in Jakarta early this year, for the first time. They have 2 major mongering venues, North and South, but it's a major to get from one to the other. Folks had told me it would be easy if you do it late at night, not quite true. Even at 2 am, it was quite a trip going from one to the other. I suggest you spend a few days in one place, then move to another hotel, much more convenient. One area has mostly clubs with night activities (BATS, CJ, and others). The other area has mostly SPAs (hotel Classic / Travel, Alexis), open during the day. Still, traffic can be a big hassle anywhere. I suggest you read the forum for more Intel.

If you managed to have a good time in there, you can probably do the same in Jakarta.

If your near a golf course, and without knowing the location, its a very safe assumption to say your nowhere near any mongering action worth mentioning.

Forget mongering in Jakarta as youll spend hours in traffic and instead score with the P4 P caddy (that's a whole different experience not often mentioned on this board).

The North (Malioboro, etc) has more locals. Rich Chinese. Very attractive women. Slick scene. Lots of action.

The Middle (BATS, CJs) is white rich business travelers. Women expect close to 1 M Rp for action.

The South (Blok M) lots of local whites who want cheap beer and a good deal. Downscale and rundown. I have never paid more than 500 K.

I'm devastated; I was supposed to meet with FastEddie and end the debate for once and for all as to whether HE is a real person and actually comes here. HE did give me his dates in all fairness, but something I cannot avoid, requires my presence in another country on the 17th. I'm sure if another senior member of good standing were to want to meet him, HE'd oblige. My humblest apologies FastEddie.

I'm planning my own 4 day trip and thus far, it's more a question of who there's time for. There's never enough time.

The high demand girls who are the best looking will want more than that. I do agree though that over 90% of the girls in Blok M can be had for 500 k. You get what you pay for.
