As stated before, many times I don't have much time to go check out the bar, see what I like, etc. so I find myself going to a MP. Since PDP is walking distance from my hotel, it has become my location of choice.

Anyways, just a piece of advice. I know this has also been discussed about taxi drivers receiving a kick back but this appears to be a case where they tripled the price and were probably going to split the difference.

One more side note. A couple of posts ago I mentioned a girl chasing me down the street offering a 500 peso massage. On the way to PDP tonight, when we were stopped at a corner, I saw her standing with a friend.

As regards the kickback for the taxi driver, this is what I do: Drop the cab one or two blocks *before* reaching the MP. Make sure the cab does not follow you. This will save you the taxi drivers commission. This is a very common practice in Bangkok where the taxi and tut-tut drivers attach to you like a magnet.

What is the price structure in PDP? You indicated that you had to pay for the room. Are there different kinds of rooms? How much for the girls? Is FS the norm?

I am glad I kept the taxi driver in this case because it took me 45 minutes to get one since it was rush hour.

For me, I usually go with friends with cars to these places so I don't have to worry about taxis. But, if I were to take a taxi, the places I would go are usually so large that the rates will remain the same regardless of how you get there.

For PDP, they have a regular room and a Presidential. I think from 2am to noon the regular room is 1200 and I'm not sure about the Presidential. from noon to 2am, the regular room (I think they call it executive) is 2000 and the Presidential is 2500. The girls are the same and I've only taken the regular rooms. It has a king size bed and a decent bathroom and a tv. Not much more is necessary IMO.

Full service is 2000 and is absolutely expected. Apparently during the discount time it is 1500. Others have claimed to have negotiated the price down to 1500 during regular hours. I haven't tried too hard to negotiate it.

Some girls want extra for a second pop and some don't. I've had a couple of girls ask me for a second pop because they wanted it.

Also, at PDP, it appears that all of the girls will take a shower with you before and after. I had known other MPs where time was limited and it was better to shower before the girl came to the room. But at PDP you get 1.5 hours which should be sufficient.

Last night when I went, I took a shower before the girl came in, was wrapped in a towel and she came in and said, "let's take a shower together". Off the towel went and we jumped right back in the shower...

when you get to Manila, try calling Avis rent a car, they can supply drivers as far as I know when you book a car. I think the price will be around P400 per hour.
Also, depending on the quality of your hotel, they will also be able to supply drivers too.
I know when I stay at the Shangri-La they will allow you to book all sorts of cars. They have 5-series BMW's, and I think the rate is about P4000 for 3 hours. Some may find this expensive, but, think about it, 3 hours driving around manila in a $100,000 car with a chauffeur for about $75 isn't bad, and its a very safe way to travel around Manila.

but, if all else fails, then the Avis guys will still probably know where to go. Remember I would suspect most of them were taxi drivers once.

let us know how it goes. But, don't just take anyone off the streets, as the Phils is getting so corrupt, I'd be scared to trust someone I didnt know.
