It was semi GF when I stayed there a few years ago. First nite, I bribed the guy, but second night, he would not let my friend and I back with 2 chicas...big hassle...and it wasnt that nice for the premium pricing besides having huge rooms...
Few years ago All Inclusive resorts were GF. But recently they do not want any Dominican girls as guests especially with tourists. I guess the image of family friendly goes away.
I used to bribe the security guys especially at night to get the girls in. But no more.
Best way is to befriend the guy who gives you the armband when you check in and let him slip you few armbands. This you can put on the girl and the girl can stay and eat as long as she likes. Also make sure when you check in he notes down as checking in as two people although you paid for only one. Sometimes the strict security guys ask the front desk check on these.
There are some dominican girls who pay their own way and stay at the resorts. You can usually meet them in the disco. They usually stay only on the weekends.

Everyone said they had problems with her.
Bar Hours
Just to correct a few reports here. The bars in this country stay open until 1:00 from Sunday to Thursday, and 2:00 on Friday and Saturday. The casinos can stay open until 4:00 so they have now added discos which means, in the case of Sosua, there is a one o clock rush hour of motoconchos to and from Playa Chiquita. BTW the standard cost is 50 pesos one way.
In my four months here this winter I have not seen many bars staying open later. This seems to be one of the few laws in this country which is consistantly enforced. Often the bars will pass out plastic cups so you can leave the premises with your drink at closing time.
Sorry to repeat the same questions but I never really got a solid response to them. I'm looking into booking a trip in the next few weeks to either buenos aires,el salvador or back to the DR. Buenos aires seems the most promising but the hotel situation has gotten pretty expensive and Im not into renting an apartment. I cant justify spending that kind of $ or can I ?
1. The weather the weather the weather in DR. Yes I know its raining and Ive been there during rain storms so I know it can be very intense. However what Im not getting from the weather forecast is are there any patches of sun throughout the day ? Are people getting a sun tan at all or are they just sitting around drinking beer at a beach bar with overcast skies. If someone is down there now that would be a big help. Thanks
2. Another member posted a question about inflation. I've read about it on ******** What are mongers experiencing relating to daily expenses...chicas,beer,food. By the way I dont eat a half chicken and a soda and call it a meal. I cant be drinking for 3 weeks and survive on fried foods. I'm not that type.
3. Has anyone heard of an apartment complex called "perla de sosua"
Thanks sorry to be repetitive but Ive been running into kinks everywhere Im looking to go. Knowhere is perfect but at least I know wherever I go I will have thought it out.

There are usually breaks in the rain but doubtful if you have enough time to get a tan.... but it seems you will be there 3 weeks.... you will get good sun days.
Food, chicas and drink... you will need at least $100-150 for girls.... $30 for food will get you good meals.... Rocky's etc for breakfast, decent lunch and good dinner... though you have an apartment with a kitchen buy from the grocery store and have your TLN cook you breakfast in the morning and maybe your beach bunny afternooner makes dinner....

Have been to the DR many, many times and all the year round the weather is nearly always hot and sunny all day. BUT sometimes there are spells of rainy weather, which has been the case recently. In all probability it will be hot and sunny a few weeks hence, but you can never guarantee anything as far as weather is concerned.
Near the Shark Bar and Secrets. She is fat, stocky, and very ugly, and wearing a dress. First, she agressively propositions you. When that failed, she grabbed my balls hard and simultaneousy uses her other hand to frisk your pocket. She failed but you may not be as lucky! I wanted to ''punch her out'' but I was afraid the Policia would support her, not me.
Has anyone stayed at new garden hotel and experienced motoconcho noise from a room facing away from the street?
Do you think u$50 bills will be accepted ?

I just returned tonight from twelve days in the "ring" with my wingman (Senior Ford). I have always loved this place, and argumentatively no one knows this destination better, but even I am growing tired of the constant
"scams", high prices and foolish taxes. When you are there, you are simply spending "Monopoly Money", but when you get back and realize what you are paying for a domestic beer in the supermarket, it plainly is robbery. this place will never recover from that one golden winter we had when the peso was 52 to 1.

Yeah great exchange rate and much lower prices... it was bliss... now you have to go further south to get those prices... Colombia or Equador

It won't be long before Medellin is next at the rate we are going. I have been there so much in the last two years, but equador, maybe so.... you don't go to quito do you?
I do have a location in paraquay, and one in northern chile that are still like the 52 to 1 days of sosua (even better really), but I hesitate to share them just yet. I have watched medellin go from bargain basement to $100 rooms with $150.00 *****s in less than 12 months. So very sad, as I am one of the few who rate Colombia over Brasil as the best quality this hemisphere has to offer, and for me personally, the best in any hemisphere. its a matter of taste, and my taste is now and will always be "Latino".
