I'll take the blame if you want. If I stopped posting entirely, half of this stuff would disappear. However, as long as I post, no matter what I post, there are a handful of people who will be angry that I'm allowed to post. If someone asks about taxis in Medellin and I write as much as I know, including that the taxis are yellow, someone will respond that the Rionegro airport taxis are white and they saw a YouTube video of a green taxi in the Dominican Republic, therefore I obviously don't know what I'm talking about.

I wish that was an exaggeration.

In my opinion each of us owes it to ISG to give back and help others. We do that by sharing our experiences and what we've learned. We also do that by speaking up when we see something wrong.

A year or two back an Asian monger wanted to know if there were any particular issues for Asians in Medellin. Someone responded that everyone would yell at him and call him names, people would get in his face and attempt to pick fights with him. Do we let any new guy read that without challenging it?

I've been lucky. I've met several guys of Asian descent in Medellin and spent a lot of time all over, and never once saw anyone behave badly towards them. None of them have ever mentioned experiencing such behavior. And sure enough, when I wrote about my experience, it pissed someone off.

Over the past 40 months or so, I've probably posted as much useful information on the Medellin thread as anyone. That's not bragging. I've spent almost one third of that time span in Medellin and I enjoy writing about my experiences.

Does it anger some that I post so often? Or is it because I write reasonably well? Is it because I write clearly and with certainty? Or is it because I speak up when I see something wrong?

I've been called an arrogant know-it-all and I've been called a pussy who knows nothing. I've received a few threats, some veiled, like the recent one from ewe52, some are more explicit. One PM, from someone currently involved in the jibber jabber was quite descriptive about how he hoped I would die. None of it bothers me. I haven't met a word yet that scares me.

As I said, if I leave ISG much of the crap goes with me, because the trolls would lose their favorite target. You're one of the few on here who could ask that of me and I would do it. However, in a few weeks, or a few months the guys who have nothing to contribute, except for their anger, will have found a new focus.

I have already shifted to placing the most useless of the children on ignore. Maybe they will get bored and go sit on mommy's lap, if I'm ignoring them.

I did make the Junior High school jibber jabber comment, however, I also realize that the jibber jabber I refer to was made in the Stupid Shit forum, so maybe I should just read or ignore and let the verbal jabs roll, haha.

There are some personalities for sure in the Medellin forum, including you, Pollo, Mr E, Don Juan Blakman LOL, etc.

I don't always agree with guys, however, good info is passed and the forum stays interesting.

I've been on the board for many years, I remember when Mr E was a rookie, LOL.

I had to change handles a while back because some jealous dip shit ratted me out to a girl friend at the time.

All that has passed now. Girl friend long gone, dip shit gone too, LOL.

Talking to a girl while she is at work is great because right way, you know she has a job. I look for gorgeous girls that are working in a shop or mall or some little booth on the street.

Social media is great for this, but don't hesitate to go up to any girl you see. You have to be better than a Neanderthal, but not much. Imagine going up to a random chic in the USA, the same behavior would get you 1:1000 success, at best, emphasis on the word YOU, not me jajajaja.
