So far my experiences at KD have been very generous with the time. The only area I find a bit dodgy at night is Neuköln. The places you mention are all quite safe at night esp. KD & VK. Freudenhaus is a bit out of the way but is right on the Sbahn line, about two mins. walk from the station.

The place is only a short walk from S Charlottenburg, and the entrance is not actually on Kant Str, but just around the corner, off Windscheidstr.
