If you don't speak Spanish, you have to rely on your translate app, and it's not uncommon to be passing back and forth your phone to chicas to communicate that way. Just pick up a few basic Spanish words like Aqui (pronounced as A-Ki which means Here), ahi (there), cuanto (pronounced as kuan-to which means How much), or Mamada sin preservativo (BBBJ).

Use this approach as I have learned from other members here. Just straight up offer 150 mil plus taxi, and most of them will just accept without needing to negotiate with you, especially those that you meet online. I have used this approach and it worked like a charm. Of course you should expect to cover only the basics. If you want them to do BBBJ or CIM, they would usually ask for propinas (tips) provided if they want to do it. It is up to you how much you are willing to pay, it is your money after all.

I'm not impressed at all with the scene right now. With Elektra closing the following things happened:

La Dulce Vita is standing room only unless you order bottle service. Then you can sit at a table. There are no bar stools so if you're drinking a couple of beers you're standing around the whole time. To make matters worse the chicas just hog the bar so there's nowhere to stand really. At midnight or later its usually so packed you can barely breath.

Outside of Space and La Dulce Vita there is usually a crowd of chicas. They look miserable. Many are Venezuelans who put on some make up and try to look sexy but aren't really fit for this type of work. Fewer Colombians by far.

Isis, when I went once, had six chicas sitting around and doing nothing else.

Playa Hollywood had a fair number of Venezuelans walking through but I'm convinced many of them visit the other beaches as well.

I made roughly 12 million pesos playing blackjack all week and that culminated in taking a coulple of chicas to Cholon. It wasn't so busy. Only six other private cruisers at the island. Food was ok. Terribly over priced (we paid something like 100 k per dish for myself, two chicas, my tout, and the two crew members.

One night I had made 8 million pesos at a casino (before losing almost half of it). I gave one chica 3 million pesos and the other one with me 1. 5 million pesos. It happened completely randomly. I was just giving them random winnings from big bets. The chica who got paid less became VERY passive aggressive and really ruined the night. The next day she sent me angry messages on how I treated her unfairly by giving her less. Giving them big gifts like that did not improve performance or earn me any special points beyond them putting my photo with them in their whatsapp status.

Lesson learned. Just pay the going rate and don't throw money around. I could tell they smelled blood and just wanted more.

On the weekends I did just end up getting a girl from there and going to an actual club because you couldn't stand without rubbing shoulders. Congrats on the winnings, I'm not sure what I would have done if I was actually in your shoes but from an outside perspective I would've offered going rate if they put any fight after seeing my money, I'd cut them loose and find someone who didn't know I have money but who knows what happens when the little head takes over LOL.

If I were in your shoes I would also get an apartment down in El Laguito for a reasonable price in a building like "Edificio del Mar." that is girl friendly and then I could relax more with the ladies and enjoy myself more. The square where Black Page told you to go find the ladies is also called Plaza de LOS Coches. Point in fact, your hotel the Hotel Carib is where those USA Secret Service agents got themselves into a bind, so I would think their tolerance for that type of thing is very low indeed.

I suspect all of the high end hotels are guest friendly in CTG.

You may able to bring in an unregistered guest (s) in areas outside of El Centro (the old section of Cartagena) such as the beach area where the Radisson is located but it's extremely difficult to find a decent hotel that will allow unregistered guests in El Centro. The Hotel Santa Clara, as an example, is very strict about this as are most of the boutique hotels within this area. Even apartments rented with Air BNB can be difficult if they have a security guard posted though I do know one apartment where you can get away with guests.

If someone knows of one in El Centro, please inform.

This wasn't always the case but I recall hotels started to become more difficult after that incident concerning a secret service agent doing advance work for Obama at a hotel where the President was going to be staying for a conference.

Cartagena is a wonderful place.

You have to understand, it is a place of culture and vibrancy. I think I've become friends and want to talk to the most every single hot girl that I ever see.

I would advise people try the party bus. I think it picks up in Bocagrande near Juan Valdez. They serve rum and coke, you can also bring your own. Tons of chicas on those rides.

[/QUOTE]I always use the same set of apartments without issues. You need to do some leg work to find them. Some guys here just use Juan's apartments which are chica friendly. There are many more in Bocagrande as well.

My tout sent me videos today of protests in Cartagena. Evidently the local government wants to remove all the current workers from the beaches and hand them over "to the hotels. " I'm not sure exactly what he is referring to but it looks like this puts places like playa Hollywood in jeaopardy. This would certainly clean up the beaches in places like Bocagrande.
