Buffets?
Will be staying Feb 11. 19th. Staying at Casa Blanca. Planned days trips and buffets for dinner. Any places that have rodizios? Among other good places to eat.
You know what. I've never seen a buffet in Colombia. Probably because the dead beat locals would come and feed the entire family for the price of one plate! Give them an inch and they way the entire yard!
There is a food topic, just scroll down on the main Colombia page. Enjoy Colombia and please report back. In the appropriate sections please.

Escaleras
That is crazy. Good luck paisas, but I can only imagine how well they well function after the first few hundred rainstorms.

It is located in one of the poorest, and most dangerous, hillside neighborhood in Medellin. Correct me if I am wrong but to get there, take the Metro line B to La Estacion San Javier II. I used to have a girlfriend from barrio San Javier and she told me not to walk the streets after 7 at night. So early? Maybe only for me.
Cheers.
El centro
Based on what I've been reading, it seems the action on the streets of el centro is ow on calle 51 and cr 53 is this right. Anyone
With first hand experience? Coming down on Wednesday for my fifth trip and wanted to hit the street scene which I have not yet
Accomplished. Plus it seems easier for a bbj from the street chicas without the hassles. Also can anyone say if theyve been getting bbj from energy and abydos. Last time I went to abydos and received great bb service but from reading lately it seems most are
Not getting it. I also had a hot one from ejecutivo on a Saturday night at the mansion with great bb service.

Girl and Motorcycle
I am thinking of renting a motorcycle for my next trip. There are some outfits that seem reasonably professional. The reason I am posting is because, ideally I would like to pick up a Chica for few days and drive around and let her be the guide. Have any of you done that or know someone that did that sort of a trip. I searched for "motorcycle" and I did not find any.
Any advice, mongering or non-mongering, is appreciated. I will post this in Cali section as well because that is where the rental company is but sounds like I can rent from MDE as well. Also, I am familiar with MDE but never been to Cali.

Medellin has the "Metro", and taxis are not very expensive. I have never paid more than 20k to go to my venues. Factor in safety and I just don't think its worth it to travel your way. But good luck because I think your mind is already made up.
Details may be a little spotty as a got back a few days ago, but I wanted to add a report on my trip to MDE from 11/9. 11/13.
Went to the market, settled into Casa Loma (beautiful place) and headed out to Loutron around 6:00PM.
Many thanks to all the contributing members here for helping me know where to go.
Where is Casa Loma? Thanks

It's an awesome way to get around, once you get used to riding here. I haven't seen any moto rental shops, but then again I haven't been looking. I'm sure there are some here somewhere. If you do find a rental shop make sure you buy SOAT (accident insurance) and seguro de robo (theft insurance). And take a few rides up into the mountains just outside Medellin, it's really beautiful outside the city and on a bike is a great way to see it.

Not even close to MDE. Dirty, some unpaved, and life ending potholes in some areas.

The place is as good as the chicas you banged and looks perfect with a few friends. How many bedrooms and how much is the rental? You can PM me if you don't want to show off.

This is the outfit. I am considering a oneway MDE to Cali.

Regarding safety. You think the roads are not safe or you worry about trouble with criminals?
Thanks

Thanks
Motorcycles are my third love behind God and family, but there are too many problems associated with riding in Colombia. Criminals are one aspect, but I hear alot about some " no passenger" law that is coming.
You might want to switch this topic over to the " general info" section, because they have some rough boys here in the Medellin forum, who will chew our asses up.
