I sometimes lurk on this Site, looking for entertainment during a boring work day and occasionally picking up a new idea. When I have something good to add, I do speak up.

I think the girls in Wanchai are as beautiful, plentiful and cheap as they ever were. Maybe cheaper. In fact, in the 1990s the street level bars were more popular, and just as expensive as they are now. So working girls girls were more expensive then: HKD3-4, 000 for overnight. Or maybe I just knew less then. Now you can pull a girl out of Makati for HKD1, 000. Or even for free.

The quality and quantity varies day to day. If the weather is nice, they go to the beach or play volleyball instead. Some days there is a Pinoy event in Chater Garden or Indonesian in Victoria Park. Some days it is quite and I just don't know why. Other days it is amazing. And I still don't know why it is different.

Neptune II is open again, as Hong Kong Café. But, as I understand it, their license is tentative. So they are careful about letting working girls in. So week nights are dead. Sundays are still a blast with the DHs, even if the DJ now sucks. I understand they will implement a 'ladies night' soon, to liven up the week. And once their license is regularized it should get back to normal.

I hear immigration is cracking down on Filipinas, but I don't see it, there are still lots. Just go to Joe Bananas, Amazonia, Escape or Neptune III to find the "tourists".

I visit Singapore from time to time too. Clark is a bit like LKF, albeit bigger. Orchard Towers is like Makati or Neptune, but bigger and more expensive. Gaylang is a bit like Sex 1 4 1, but on steroids. HK and Singapore are both fun.

I would say, if you are not finding your ideal GFE in Wanchai, do explore further. My suggestion would be to go where they go. Good luck!

HK is very easy. I agree with you that picking up FL at Neptunes is not all that much fun. But it is totally doable for a 50 yr white guy. The girls are just there for your $ not your looks. Go to Wan Chai and walk into the recommended places. If you are modestly assertive, you can easily pick-up a girl who wants to scores some cash. She'll know of an hourly hotel that is 10 minute walk away.

My usual choice is the Hotel girls that you find on the ****** site. This HK$ 900 to HK$1000 and you get pretty good quality younger girls. The pics on the site are real, but photoshopped. Watch the videos if you want to see the unphotoshopped girl. You'll have the best luck if you pick an agent who has several girls. These guys "brand" themselves by naming the girls in a distinctive way. E. G. A1. Angel, A1. Beauty, A1. Hotness. These guys will generally speak some English. Book a girl an hour or three in advance and afternoons are easier than evenings. Send the agent a text that you want so and so at such and such a time. Usually they won't respond by text, so follow-up with a phone call in 10 minutes and he'll remember the text and the communication will be a little easier. He'll send you the address. When you get there you call and he'll tell you the room. Most of these are younger girls. The same site has walk-up options. Look at the pix.

Go to any of the bars mentioned in earlier reports (Neptune, Escape, Amazonia, New Makati, Jo Bananas etc etc) and you will approached for sure. You don't need to do much. Just stand there, smile and look friendly. My experience is that you are more likely to be approached before the "younger" guy. Older guys are perceived to be less trouble for the girls. It's not your waistline or age that matters. It's the size of your wallet, although they are very good at letting you think otherwise and that they really want to spend time with you. Treat them with respect and this will pay dividends.

Personally I prefer going back to my own hotel and if you want to get any of the "hotel reservation girls" again I prefer they come to my hotel.

I've been coming to HK for years and have never felt out of it on age grounds and I am a lot older than you. My next visit is fast approaching. Can't wait but I agree with an earlier post that things are not as good as they used to be, despite what Chantik says!

I did the Wan Chai Sunday afternoon tour of the various bars and clubs. As it has been mentioned, all you need to do is look pleasant and nice and the women are very receptive. I didn't like some of the clubs (personal choice) but I really liked Neptune 3 because the music isn't overpowering and you can actually speak to the girls. At about 5:00 I was approached by an Indo DH who told me she was feeling a little dizzy. I asked if she wanted to go back to my hotel to relax a bit and she jumped at the chance. After 2 hours of furious wrestling in my room, I offered her $500HK and she refused at first. Told me she didn't want me to think she was a working girl. I insisted and she did take the $$. It helps if you are polite, considerate, and gently assertive rather than being aggressive.

In a word, if you are civilized tending towards generous, HK will probably become, for you, a favoured destination.

I speak from experience, and have over the past 5 or 6 years politely declined 4 or 5 marriage suggestions. .
