I hear the reason Japanese population is shrinking is because many of their young men and women are spending their money on fancy electronics or expensive bags and jewelry instead of making babies. Perhaps they ought to include horrendously priced dinners in the list of the culprits. Sometimes I look at this Wagyu and wonder if it is beef or foie gras. I want the flavor to last, damn it. Give me flat iron or bavette or even neck any day. And who needs Yonezawa when you can have Black Angus or Blue Ribbon.
