Went to Bodi this afternoon. Two police motorcycles were right outside the entrance and two cops were standing around awkwardly. Not sure why. Didn't look like a good sign.
Does anyone know anything about this?
I was just out on Thursday (puxi) and all was fine. Also, the three places I get updates from were all active this weekend (again, all in puxi).
What you describe doesn't sound as much like a raid, as the police trying to make it look like they are doing something.

Super weird. I guess they're trying to scare folks away. Succeeded in my case.
Wish we could get more reports in here. Went to red house the other day. Was kind of disappointing due to being really crowded and the WGs smoking like crazy. Had to wait forever. Service was OK.
I do not know what you saw meant, but I would think if that was a raid, there would be more than a couple of police motorcycles and a few cops present. (There would be police wagons for people they arrested.) I do hope that there will not be bad weather in Shanghai, and if there is anything, just a brief passing storm.
I agree. I saw a raid in a MP a couple years ago. I had walked into a new place for an HE massage. the girls were not that great so I turned to leave. There were 6 LE behind me when I turned to leave. they let me walk by them. They showed up with a van and haul the girls away. 2 days later the place was back in business but I would never go in there after that. it must have been a shake down
I think motorcycles are just traffic cops aren't they? They don't cover the hobby AFAIK.

Would be good to hear from other's on this.

I have seen motorcycle cops go roaring into the narrow alleys of villages where BBSs are located and the girls run screaming back into the apartment buildings.
Wish we could get more reports in here.
Don't mean to sound like a dick here. But I find that a really interesting comment coming from a guy who's most recent post prior to this was in July 2014.
I'm fairly new to this site, but I'm doing my best to contribute however I can.

Tazman099's update
When I went to on earlier in the month, a popular place for Chinese mongers, the front door was padlocked, and I was met by a staff after I called and taken up there through a back entrance. Now the place had stopped updating on WeChat and QQ in the past 2 weeks. I do not know if it is still open. And I also noticed radio silence from two or three more places I set up contact with but had never gone to yet.

Taz
Please keep in mind that some people on this forum actually live in Shanghai.
While others may visit Shanghai like once a year during some conference or business trip.
I lived in Shanghai for five years, but now I only get to visit Shanghai like twice a year.
Business come and go, don't expect to be stationed in Asia forever.

Raid
I was told a few hui suo (MP) were closed by police in hongqiao area. Truck load xiao jie (girls) were caught. I text one manager without answer. She might be in jail. Any news?
I am outside China now. I had trouble to open this web link in China always. Any way to cross wall (翻墙)in China for this site?

Sweeps
As previously reported, Shanghai is in a midst of a 3 month clean-up. There will be sweeps in concentrated areas from time to time. It isn't a massive op such as the shutdown in Dongguan. I assume they are just trying to maintain and keep the sex trade under control and not let the number get out of hand. Hongqiao / Hongkou is currently the area the LE are hitting. There a number of places that will be closed for a couple of days. There are those which remain open but have their storefront appear as if they are closed.
The mini sweeps will occur from time to time for another month or so. All I can suggest is for you to call up your places or contacts ahead of time and ask what their situation is. Be aware that some places might still be open under heavy weather but to obtain your business, they will tell you the weather is calm and quiet.
Stay safe all.

Taz
No need to judge bro, I'm only here once a year for vacations. I don't live in Shanghai. My plea / desire for more reports is mostly because safety conditions are really windy and some of my favorite places (Pine Club in Gubei for example) supposedly are shut down and gone forever. So, I'd love to know what places are still safe and good, so as to avoid being caught the middle of a bad situation. The Macau section of this website is thriving like crazy with lots of frequent reports. I appreciate your reports and wish we could get more, that's all. I like the shanghai nightlife guide website but sometimes I feel like the descriptions are a bit too flattering / complimentary of the places. Nothing beats real reports.

He asks about the weather (looking to gain benefit from the knowledge base on this site) and then follows up with an after the fact review at the same time he complains about not seeing more reviews. If I misread the situation, I'll happily apologize. But I believe my point stands. This site is only as valuable as the contributions to it.

Hu jing
My second report is on Hu jing from the guide's site. Nice girl, very friendly, eager to please. Taller than I imagined (around 5'6?) Slender, great legs. Came over at short notice. Stripped down to her panties and gave a great massage. Lot better than the "masseuse" at Novotel. Started playing with the boys just before the flip and then proceeded to give a HJ. I just wasn't that into her though. Not a knock on her at all, but she was too "professional" for my taste. You can tell a working girl from how well she knows her way around a hotel room. I prefer the more "amateur" type. Anyway, she was egging me on to deliver, and the extra pressure wasn't helping. In the end I got there, with some help from her tits and some vivid imagination. 6 red maos plus one for the taxi, and she was on her way in under 45 minutes. Can't fault her service, just didn't do it for me. YMMV.

Patience
In Too Deep.
Be patient. It took me five years to get one gal to take of her panties by herself. Six years for another to get desperate enough to BBBJ. Only one failure at he in all those years. And it was not their fault.

Buddha Place
I am told the price at Buddha is 268.
I am back stateside now but thought some of you would appreciate a report of my last visit to the Buddha Place.
Got a different girl, #28. Cute enough: 7-8. Shower, moderately good back and leg massage, light fingertip stroking, teasing of the boys, tit massage, water sucking that turned into some tongue rimming.
On the flip, more leg massage during which I started stroking her legs and butt. Front water thing, tit massage which resulted in her A's in my mouth. She really enjoyed my sucking her breasts and nipples and rubbing her pussy. By the time her mouth made it to the little head, her panties were off and she was straddling my face. Super clean and sweet little pussy god lots of attention as did my little head. Finished in each others' mouths then cleanup, and GFE snuggle until the phone rang. Oops, times up. Quick shower and out the door. Damage 268.
I definitely will be back during my next trip to Shanghai. Have fun, be safe.
