The masseuse I EWRd told me that from a 300 peso 1-hour massage she gets 50 pesos. On average, she will see about 3-4 clients a day in a 12-hour shift. She said that her chain of 4 kiosks in Angeles employs a total of 16 girls per shift, so the work must be rotated around unless the customer specifically asks for a particular girl. Most of the time the girls were just sitting around chatting, so I assume in the off season, this figure of 4 jobs per day would seem about right. She is also paid a daily salary of 200 pesos and only gets one day off per month. She mentioned that Koreans, Japanese and Malaysians almost never tipped her. Koreans in particular were very tight with their money and displayed little respect. She said that Australians, Brits and Americans were the most generous with their tips. At the first meeting I gave her a 100 peso tip and she said that was a good amount. From the 1, 500 peso EWR, she gets 250 pesos, so it's as if she has done 5 massages. If you do the math, she would make about 11, 000 pesos per month from the daily retainer and 4 massages a day. Any tips (say 7, 000 pesos per month) would then be on top of this. Add in a couple of EWRs and shopping trips a month and she is not doing too badly. Far better than most Filipinos.

A girl I picked up from MBC in Manila told me that she does body scrubs in a Makati Spa. She is paid a commission of 60 pesos per scrub and then has the opportunity to provide additional services on side (through direct negotiation) , the fee which goes directly into her pocket. While the commission is low by our standards, girls do this for the direct access to foreigners.

Could someone explain why the hotels in Angeles are full, yet the bars are empty? The Lewis, ABC, Swiss, Amsterdam etc are running at near 100% occupancy even in the off season. But venture into any of the perimeter or Fields bars and the girls out number customers by 10 to 1. What's going on here? I can only assume that punters are going in early, bar fining their bitches for a week and then disappearing from circulation. It could also explain the high proportion of ugly chicks remaining in the bars. An American bar manager I spoke to said that the bar business is not as profitable as it used to be and that it's a marginal business at best. Is Angeles in decline? Are the religious right and the left wing feminists finally agreeing on something - encouraging the Aquino administration to slowly shutdown the bars in return for more US aid money and alternate investment into the Clark Economic Zone? Or am I over analysing everything?

Like golf. Staying indoors after they get the girls. There are a lot of bars so easy to spread out.

They're no longer sitting and drinking for long periods of time before making their minds up to bar fine or not. They seem to pop in look around and leave right away if they don't see what they're looking for. If they spot a girl that they like they might invite her for a drink and a short chat then they're out the door with or without her. The only guys hanging out drinking and making conversation seem to be the resident expats. Everyone else seems to be getting straight to business and running before the PNP has a chance to burst in through the door.

I have a regular contact / supplier in AC that has NEVER sold me dud / fake Vitamins. He's been supplying me for years now and I trust him enough to let him deliver to my hotel room over a few SML's. He understands that he's got a good thing going with me and as long his goods are 100% he's got a regular customer.
