And I know I read one review (either on sng or here) describing that. I've only been there once, early enough that it was very slow. And never actually got to meet Keke. She arranged my entry but had to run out just as I arrived.
Sounds like you didn't 'rush in' with several other guys. Just went in when you were changed and chose along with whoever else was there.

That means they will "collect" the guys in their waiting rooms till at least 10 to 20 guys come together (just to avoid the girls have to line up on stage, than back to their "relaxing room", than 2 minutes later the next lineup for the next guy). So they only have a new lineup every 10 to 20 minutes and each time for a group of customers together.
Several saunas do that, but what I felt "special" was, that the group had more guys (in my last visit case, it was like the start of the new iPhone sales)! Some Chinese guys even have jostled and pushed around each other in front of the "selection stage room" to make sure they could be the first one when the door will open! And than a fast rush inside, where one host with a microphone introduced the girls and caught up the "orders" of the guys. That was a very stressful experience for the customer I guided there, because till he made his choice, forward the number to me and I called her out in Chinese to the host, his 2 favorite girls already have been "dialed out" by other guys, that's why we talk about the "cattle auction" style on our page.
But it can be also different, if you come over in a quiet time. I also got single selections for my customers already, so I would only recommend not to go there in "rush hour".
And another tip: many of the "top models" are straight over the day "pre-booked", so for the case you look for one of this girls you saw on their manager's we-chat (which by the way has changed some days ago, because Keke's old account got blocked), than better do a reservation, than also this girls will be available for you.

Impressive that you are maintaining detachment. Normally I have no problems but there was one GFE I had in Shanghai that was so out of the world for me that I also struggled with as well though I haven't followed up on it. Regarding my experience at Kang Ding, I went there just once and it was good, the girl quality was good but I felt Ming Hui was slightly better and more choices (almost 2 x). Basically, shanghai is the new Dongguan, sort of speak. Consider it as Dongguan jr. The services still doesn't rank up to what was once DG but quantity is aplenty compared to other major cities. From what I've noticed from the board and from fellow mongers, foreigners do pay more in some cases. In Hongqiao / Gubei area for instance many MPs are on a 218 or 228 cost for 90 minute oil massage at front desk and the min tip is 300 for HJ with auto-roam (used to be 200) given to the girl.
