As far as finding girls that speak English I was actually quite amazed. There seems to be some new schooling in the area to teach English as a 2nd language. Natal also being a major tourist destination for Europeans the workers in those areas are exposed to English as well. I don't think if you target the middle/upper class society girls you should have no problem. The lower class are not; in my experience that exposed to English to learn it. However, if you speak a little Spanish this helps too. I never really had the opportunity to talk too much other than just some quick chatting but all are nice and I don't think you have too much trouble if your willing to put in a little time and get to know the lady.

As far as the quality of girls you can find anything and everything you are looking for and all price oriented based on what you want. For example a 5-6 might be 100R$ or less a stunner 8-9 175R$. There's enough around that you should have no problem finding something to match your taste.

Business wise I think Brazil is a sleeping tiger! I see lots of potential in most everything; agriculture, manufacturing, aquaculture, mining, tourists, condo's etc... There are some strick laws about hiring and firing and according to my friend its not a terrible problem to get capital in or out of the country. Be advised to do your homework first. Also of note a lot of country's have some degree of tariffs on certain products i.e. shrimp, lumber, etc.

About the language skills of the girls: I have another experience.

The last two days I spent in Natal in Ponta Negra.

I see Brasil as a sleeping tiger too, there is potential in many places, I quite like distribution based business so once I get to grip with the environment that is what I will do.

w.b.[/quote]it's good you let some steam off here but really these raids have nothing to do with **** sex. first of all there are no ****/children in discos and also no one takes a 8yo to disco for that matter. secondly, those into **** sex know the rules very well and won't be caught on simple id checks.

raiding discos and arresting hundreds of innocent tourist (probably some couples or from all inclusive resorts) and taking them to police station and demanding $$$ dollars fines will not solve anything and is just plain extortion.

may be you don't care much about natal tourist industry but without it a lot of businesses go bust and people loose their jobs and livelihood.

i’m all for curbing paedophiles but the way to do it is to make sure owners of hotels, bars and clubs do not let **** girls (or boys) in their establishment (with hefty fines to back it up) and then set up sting operations (this works very well here in the west, these bastards can’t resist an easy prey).

It seems that the new place which is a giant club turned into a giant brothel, Azucar, it's giving the old houses a run for their money.

A lot of prime qualiti girls form Senzala and other casas are going to Azucar since they have a more relaxed and more of a party atmosphere and the place is HUGE compare to the other houses.

I was planning to be in Rio 7/17-7/25. But I found out the Pan American games are in town. All hotels are "practicing special pricing", and I'm afraid the place will be a mob scene; with everything priced-up for all the foreigners.

I've never been to Natal. I know Recife and Forta. How does Natal compare? (range of look of the women, for example)...

I had the impression Natal was a viable alternative for monger activities but judging by the inactivity on this page, maybe not. There's a chance I will be around Natal and/or Recife the beginning of December and have heard of the off-season-carnaval aka Carnatal. Anybody have any experiences they'd like to share? As with my February plans for Rio, I recognize Carnaval is not prime time for a gringo monger in Brasil but hey - that's when I will be there - and that's what I do.
