Dear All,

I am heading to Oslo in November. Does anyone have any advice on the best bars / cafes / discos, etc for NON-PRO girls? Skagen has provided some very useful information but I was wondering if there was something more up-to-date. Having been there in August, I do realise the price of drinks...etc and am fully prepared for any venue. Students or yuppies, it doesn't really matter. Would be extremely grateful for any info. It depends on the age group you are looking for. Places like "3 Brødre" and "Tordenskiold" I think are known to be meat-markets.

I was walking in the area where the Street Walkers hang out -- the area around Skippergata and Dronningengate. A little after 5 pm a Wednesday. There was not much action. Dronningens gate was completely empty. In Skippergata there were some Eastern European girls. Some were not too attractive. Spotted a girl that looked ok. She was from Varna in Bulgaria; perhaps 160 cm, brown hair.

We agreed for 500 kroner for short time. (She wanted 1 000 kroner for 1 hour ...). She didn't say much, I thought it was because her English wasn't too good. We had to take a taxi to her place at Groenland (100 kroner). I soon regretted picking her up as she had quite an attitude and was totally disinterested. She refused to do anything but missionary position.

I think it's no problem getting girls to go for 500 kroner. But I think it's important to do a better job that I did checking their attitude before picking up the girl. At least keep away from the one I picked up ...

For all you punters visiting Oslo, the situation in this city has changed in the last year and a half/two years. The street corners of downtown Oslo south of Karl Johan and east of Akersgata are now occupied by Nirgerian sw's on most evenings. The Aftenposten newspaper had an article yesterday in which the Norwegian prositutes are complaining because the availability of the Nigerians has led to men asking for reduced prices and more services. While the scene has gotten beyond the pale, in some regards, it is positive with respect to prices.

Near central train station, at the intersection of Skippergata and Prinsens gate and around Karl Johans, there were about 10-12 streetwalkers. Roughly half of them were from Africa (Ghana) and other half were from EE and Turkey. Starting prices are steep. Some EE girls were asking 1000NOK (~160USD) for 1/2 hour, which was starting quote (1-2hours) of the girls from Africa. Africans go down to 500-700NOK. Try to get there not too early if high prices are concern. Girls offer their apartments for the action. The quality of African girls vary dramatically from 1-8. Some scary ones are around. Some real good EE or Turkish girls can be found. Not many hotels allow overnight guests, so check with the hotel prior to booking if you plan to bring someone overnight.

The African girls have bad reputation in the Norwegian forums. Bad attitude/bad service. It is also reported that many of them are traficking victims being forced into prostitution. Stay away.

Mongering in Norway is extremely expensive and quality hard to find. Here is a shortlist:

The best street action is around the Akershus fortress; I would rather go there - in Kongens gate and around Vippetangen - than Prinsens gt/Carl Johan. Mostly EE girls. Quality varies, but occasionally you can find a jewel (7- 8s).

Prices in the street right now:
- a quickie in a car or alley: EUR 65 (NOK 500)
- HJ/CBJ: EUR 40 (NOK 300)
- 30 mnts at the SW's appartment: EUR 130 (NOK 1.000)

Best value for money is in private appartments where girls advertise on the internet. Standard price is EUR 190 (NOK 1.500) for one hour, although some girls may try to demand EUR 250- 400 (NOK 2.000- 3.000) (but quality is rarely any better). You should negotiate the actions in the room on beforehand. Normally CBJ/HJ/FS is standard, and most girls will allow two rounds within the hour if you have the stamina.
