Well I missed my flight so decided to go down to the Dead Sea for a couple days. Let me tell you, besides the sea itself being dead (would recommend visiting though at least once in your life) so is the mongering scene. Security is super tight and I think random women for sale is frowned upon as the gov tries to sell the Dead Sea as a family and senior friendly western europe vacation spot. You can't even topless sun bathe here.

Couldn't find anything to buy here and would highly recommend avoiding if you your sole goal is picking up a lady. Just not going to happen, pay or tourist. On the other hand would highly recommend it if you want to just relax or maybe bring your favorite girl from Amman or elsewhere with you. Will prob ask my new favorite Amman girl if she would like to spend a weekend down here next month. Really is amazing area barring that. Wouldnt' spend more than two days tops here though.

As for hotels, the two big ones are the Marriot or Movenpuck here. Avoid the Marriot like the plague; its dirty, overpriced, unfriendly, and all around a dive. Its only redeeming feature is its private beach BUT Movenpuck is about 30 meters away and Movenpick guests are granted access to it for 5 JOD.

EDIT: Also a Kempinski is opening up in September right next to the Movenpick. Cabby was telling me about it on my way back to Amman.

Dead Sea is nice for relax and to take your girl with you. and be sure that girls like that and they will give you a very nice night there feeling you are treating them as ladies or girl friend. I agree wiht you about Movenpick, better to take the a chalet or sweetnear the pools and the sea down but not in the Hotel itslef but .. I did that many times in the summer where you can see many locals and tourists beauties in bikini...Once we we started our warming up i th jacuzzi kissing and playing there as nobosy was there late night after 10 or 11, and started soft hot sex there and then we left to the room for a long night full of sex. Very nice experience there.The jacuzzi is situated in went in like a small garden and far from crowd, you can ask about it or see it in the Movenpick map.

Nothing worse than a p4p'er standing you up. Called early to get her before everybody else did :) and stated would show around 2200. 2400 (was late last time also so gave her a couple hours, I was in no rush) and still no show nor answer phone. Nothing I hate worse than be stood up by a p4p'er. Wrecks your night as you wouldn't think to arrange a backup plan (lets get realistic, you are PAYING her to show up) so ended up just crashing. Waste of a night.

If you are busy, just say so. If something comes up, give me a call back. Don't just not show without a word, ryhme, or reason. Its not like we are lovers. It is called professionalism.

Update: So going to give her a shot again tonight. Will prob do the Dead Sea again this summer and do Movenpick .. taking your advice. Now to just find somebody to take. Yep, always a good last resort place or tourist p4p'er. You got ripped off on the price but it is to be expected and I have seen people taken for much much worse (this one guy told me he paid 500 JOD for a CBJ). For future notice, standard rate is about 100 JOD for a couple hours, 200JOD for the night and you can haggle it lower if its a slow / off night.

Might have to stop by next week and pick one up myself. Haven't been since October. Or possibly JJ's though thats a little close to home. The same girl every night gets old and need to change it up for a night or two. Glad to hear the Meridien is still going strong.

So the regular didn't show up and didn't feel like running out and hitting the local hotel bars as it was late (2330ish) and most of the good ones are taken by then.

Decided to give Mme a chance and had one of the most god awful p4p'er I have ever had. She was def a board clockwatcher and was still dirty AFTER a shower.
