And get a CC with no foreign transaction fee (like Cap 1) and you will see no "credit card surcharges". Also use Bangkok Bank ATM's. The why are not a rip off. 220 charge per transaction. Which may or may not be refundable. Depends on your bank. Of course cash is king. Do not buy baht at the airport if possible.

I've been to BK dozens of times of the years, but never experienced Pattaya. I am also in need to some minor dental work, like repairing / replacing a crown. I wanted to ask if anyone could recommend a good place in Pattaya for expat dental work?

A few years ago, I was a guest at a really nice "G" club somewhere in BK. I cannot remember the name, but it was a fun night. I've gotten the sense by reading the Pattaya forums that the "G" clubs in Pattaya are a bit more numerous and accessible than their counterparts in BK. If anyone would like to make a few recommendations, I would be grateful.

They are not G Clubs at all rather than a normal bar who decided to rebrand itself a G Club during COVID for some unknown reason. Don't be fooled by the word G Club in Pattaya. There are some closer to G clubs like Kinnaree, Passion, Cosy Beach and then there are some glorified BJ bars like High Rollers, Kit Kat, and The Den (if they are still open). Guys in Pattaya forum complain that gogo bars are too expensive so places like a real BKK G club or karaoke bars like Thaniya road would never survive in Pattaya.

Can't recall the criteria members had but the main one was G Clubs have a pool akin to a FKK club. Agree I don't see the difference between what you describe and a G Club but now any bar even with no rooms upstairs calls themselves a G club.

Any club with women that isn't a beer bar or go go now can call themselves a G club. Forget if G club is written on the outside signage. Just go inside and check it out.

I am sure the club I went to in BK was only doing that for some VERY HIGH rollers and even then it was not widely known. I just enjoyed partying with some very pretty ladies that only seemed to what to keep me entertained. I am sure sex was available but not until after closing and I am also sure each lady had full authority to say "NO thank you". I don't do much "On site" sex, preferring to return to my hotel for however long we choose. Yes it is more expensive and maybe the ladies don't want to be out of circulation that long, but I appreciate the "slow burn" method for the most part.

Almost the same as a BJ bar, the difference being that customers don't go to GCs just for a BJ, or even sex, they might hang out for a bit.

No requirement for a pool to be a GC.

But, most GCs don't have ladies dancing. If they have strippers, its a gogo.

Wrong. Kinnaree brings in gogo girls to dance on the tables for tips from time to time. Last time we went there were about 20 gogo girls there. They will DFK you with groping and lap dancing for a cheap Kinnaree drink. They don't session in the club but try to convince you to take them when the bar closes. Some were from Sapphire and What's Up last time.

As for how much for 2 girls per day, not including drinks. For Pattaya you can get a Soi 6 girl for 1350 baht including BF and a BR girl for 700 baht. Otherwise you can get a G club girl at Kinnaree for 1300 baht and a gogo girl at Palace for 5 k ST. So that's 2050 to 6300 baht per day only for the girl and BF and not including drinks. (After hanging out in the club and buying a few lady drinks.) I found the rooms at Kinnaree to be much more comfortable than the rooms above the Soi 6 bars. Clean, well-appointed, comfortable. Nice en suite showers.

But now Mr. Boi is reporting the Kinnaree girls "don't session in the club." Hmmm. My Kinnaree experience pre-dates COVID, so I'm wondering about the current state of play. Can anybody who has patronized Kinnaree recently weigh in here? I find it hard to believe that the action there is limited to take out only.

I read somewhere (possibly on Reddit) that a couple lost all their valuable, which they put in the safe. Others commented that the housekeeping can gain access to safe easily. Any way to sag guard your money while traveling there? Thanks in advance.

They are paid for the day to entertain the customers with strip shows on the tables. They're open to go home with when Kinnaree shuts down at 5 pm unless they have to get ready for work at their gogo bar. The daily house girls at Kinnaree all still session. Nothing has changed on that front.

If this happened often I'm sure you'd hear it happening much more on here. Don't recall the last time an ISG member has said their safe was broken into. Every hotel even in the Western world has a master key to open all safes in a hotel. Housekeepers usually don't have access to that key. Now if you were careless enough to let a housekeeper or girl see your lock number then that's a different situation altogether.

If you have something really valuable I would leave it at the front desk safe and stay at a name brand hotel.
