I haven't been to the Aurora 911 in Yekaterinburg. But the girl I met in the Moscow Aurora, said that she worked in the Yekaterinburg club. I got the impression that they brought her in specifically for the opening of the Moscow club.

I think the management of the clubs is fairly consistent, so if you like the club in Moscow, you'll probably find the same experience in Yekaterinburg. My guess would be that the prices in Moscow will be more expensive.

a) soldiers aren't allowed to roam free... they spend the vast majority of their time on base or when they go out, in groups, in uniforms.

b) soldiers are absolutely fucking broke. Zero money. I.e. can't offer a girl jack shit in terms of entertainment.

c) soldiers are quite low on the social totem pole. I am certain that the "fighting for the motherland" factor wins them some points, and there are certain to be some good-looking ones in the bunch, but the word "soldier" and "army" conjurs up mostly negative imagery in Russia... they are crazily patriotic and nationalistic in their love of the military, but also consider it a horrible place where young men are mistreated, officers are corrupt and where only the poor who can't afford to get out of service actually serve... just another Russian paradox.

d) in my nightly excursions, I have never seen a single soldier out and about.

I am inclined towards Kaliningrad for a bit of the Russian experience albiet at a cheaper price, than taking my ass all the way over to Tiraspol, another place on my radar.

Air fares from London to Gdansk poland, are cheap as chips sometimes.

Then a hop on the bus to Kgd.

And if nothing works out there, I have the Tri cities of Gdansk Sopot, and Gydnia, in poland as reserve blond pussies.

Not in K-grad, but in 'other' province cities, possibly because I seem to always be there during Easter or May Day holidays, I ALWAYS see sailors and soldiers out and about.

In Ukraine, army guys in uniforms, going around in the daytime. No concerns at all. I see them around the medical and technical institutes. They act normal.

In Russia, sailors in the afternoons wearing their uniform on Sundays and holidays, but very seriously drunk. Walking around the main square, and singing. I stay far away.

Don't recall seeing any later at night, they must be back in barracks.

I disagree. I have visited Petropavlovsk Kamchatski 17 times.
Going there just for mongering is waste of time.
Lots of mongers there from Japan and Alaska.
Local men outnumber women in great numbers.
Place can be rather expensive for foreigner, "japanese" prices, since most foreigners there are coming from Japan.
Not to mention that knowledge of russian language is very needed.
Unless you want to pet bears in the wilderness Kamchatka is place to avoid.
For mongering better stay where you know the game. Proposal - Tashkent for you.
Lukasek Murmansk is also not a good place. Full of norwegian mongers who come there for cheap sex, vodka and cigars. This things in Murmansk are much cheaper then in Norway. Also Russia and Norway have agreement about easy visa issue, especially for people living close to the border. Most norwegian mongers in Murmansk are from cities of Trondheim and Hammerfest.
